Glenn Beck mentioned the march again on today’s radio program….keep sending letters to him. We want him there!!!
I have just sent a email message to Glen Back asking him to speak at the 09/12/09 March.
Tomorrow I am calling his producers to allow him to attend on behalf of Fox News.
Ellen..just did the same as well. Tried to call but the line was busy.
I just wrote him and suggested we all drive our clunkers down to the tea party, and have a nice clunker parade on the capital. Maybe this will catch on.

Glenn said on his 5 o’clock show on Fox that he will not be attending the 9-12 march on the Capitol. He said he wanted to be there but after talking to his producers and others feels he would do more good by staying away. He wants the media to see that this march was formed by the people with no influence from any media source. In this way they can not come out and say that Fox News, Glenn Beck or any other source organized this march or had any part in it. He said he is going to broadcast the event live from the Fox Studio. Since the media refuses to believe that the Tea Parties, Town Hall Meetings and other events are a grassroots movement, not astroturf, by the people, I think Glenn made the right decision. We need to show everyone that WE THE PROPLE WILL BE HEARD !!

I didn’t hear him today. Whats wrong with Sean, Rush and others etc.
I wonder. We learn of all the terrible laws being passed, to the destruction of America, leading into socialism and to replace Christianity with Islam. We get all stirred up inside and feel like there is nothing we can do. Then we hear people like Rush, Hannity and Beck and we think, “Ah! At last! A voice on our side!” So we set back, do nothing, because we have these ‘conservative voices’ speaking for us.
But what if? What if their sole purpose is to ‘be that vent’ only to pacify the masses.? Only to be an outlet, but go no further? Ever hear them trying to actually do something? Ever hear of them trying to actually rally the masses? No. They get paid multi-millions of dollars a year to be a voice. To be a vent. A vent that keeps ‘the lid on” so things don’t really blow. If this is so, as it certainly appears to be, then they are not really on the side of the American people, and indeed could be working covertly for the socialist propagandists they claim to be against. Millions of people in this country are stirred up; we need a leader.
Amen Steve! This is what we have got to come to grips with. That’s why the left calls Rush and the others ‘entertainers.’ For they have found the magic pulse to keep their finger on to generate billions of dollars in advertising for which they in turn are paid millions for the audience of consumers they draw and for buying the products those advertisers sell to that audience. That’s their world. They have no vested interest to “resolve” anything, just to keep you and me worked up, and hopefully motivate us to buy from their sponsors…that’s it for them. That’s why you will hear them express their humble non-interest in running for office. Unlike the left we are independent, and we do not act as unified leviathan the way the left does. That is our blessing and our curse. But, this movement if we all will keep rallying together and growing the number of participants, we as a group of individuals can create a movement that will have to be reckoned with. We can make our voices heard and we can encourage one anther to vote out all incumbents who do not support us, and the conservative freedom preserving, tax eliminating, control reducing agenda we support.

Steve and John, you’re both dead on. Amen! Rush, Beck, Hannity, all of them are just in it for the money. They love to stir it up to get the ratings. I am part of the small minority that believes in the Tea Party’s, 9/ 11 Truth Movement and that Obama is not a natural born citizen. The last two issues the media will never talk about or admit to for obvious reasons. If we all believe that the government is out of control and the media can’t be trusted, why can’t we also believe in 9/11 government involvement and that Obama is not eligible to be President. Forget the left and right thing and just look at everything logically.
I’m ready for anything at this point. Unarmed or armed. Soon or later something has to break. Let’s all pray it will be a peaceful resolution.
If any of you have ever listened to Glenn Beck’s show for the last couple weeks at all Glenn Beck seems to be the only one of those that is actually trying to get people involved and take the rains from the conservative talk show hosts to be the new leaders. Just starting with the constitutional watchdogs so far but says more is to come. He seems like the only one in the group to be a genuine regular person that ended up getting lucky and having a successful show.

You don’t need anyone but yourself and the other average American’s that are planning to go… you need your neighbor, your friend, your family to go…the media…you need them to know it is going to happen so they are there to get coverage, but you do not need someone famous, if enough average American’s show up, they will have to listen…I just don’t know how many enough is…but it needs to be a massive number.

Exactly. The best role for Sean, Rush, and Glenn are to step back and let this mass of protestors do their own thing. Furthermore, they have attended several Tea Parties, etc. Anyone who can say they don’t fervently believe in their message in the media is nuts. The conspiracy theorists are beyond hope so don’t even waste your time.
We protestors are already being marginalized as shills for insurance companies, the Republican party, FOX News, etc. It will likely continue. Ideally, the message has to get across that we are just average people finally fed up. We don’t need Sean, Rush, and Glenn there, seen as “leading” the masses.
We have been energized and informed by conservative talk radio, FOX, and its contributors such as Dick Morris, Mark Levin, Michelle Malkin, etc. Their books all have been #1 as has Glenn Beck’s COMMON SENSE. We wouldn’t have the 912 Project were it not for Glenn Beck.
They have more than done their part in getting us off the couch, informing us, and realizing we ARE the majority. There wouldn’t be a march, IMO, were it not for the seeds they have sown. Give ‘em a big break.

I am actually going to one of the Freedom Concerts organized by Sean Hannity this Saturday. He brings people together for a great cause every year so that we can help children of our fallen soldiers get a good education. I believe his heart is in the right place and I’m grateful for what he’s doing.
Steve and John – your comments are exactly what we don’t need right now. I have to wonder if you two are the ones working covertly for the socialist propagandists. Do you bother to think where you would get your information if it weren’t for Rush, Beck, Levine, Laura, etc.. Have you bother to think that maybe the reason they don’t ‘directly get involved’ in what we are trying to do is because they are trying to make sure that this grassroots effort is getting the credit and not them. I, for one, am very very grateful for the “voice” that these folks have given me. They unite us and speak for us, and Glenn has done everything he can to support real action. They’re certainly the only ones out there that are really educating this country on what it means to be an American. We handed the reins of education, journalism and entertainment to the liberals years ago. So thank God for the truth that Glenn Beck, Mark Levin and Rush are giving. How ridiculous to think it’s just about money for them. They could make money without taking all the guff they take for speaking the truth.
If you’re upset that you haven’t done more, then get up and do it. I know I’m doing all I can every day, and I’m grateful for the few voices of truth on the airwaves that encourage me along the way.
Besides, true conservatives don’t have a big problem with the concept of making a profit.
Rush doesn’t keep you from taking action, you keep yourself from taking action. Rush provides us with knowledge that we can use to fight our battles not rhetoric to keep us suppressed, it is your own fault for not using Rush to his potential. You speak of Rush as though he is the enemy but he is not the one turning conservitives against each other, now i ask who is the actual covert socialist. Use what Rush talks about to formulate an intelligent argument instead of making a unintelligent attack on one of the people who is doing what they can for the movement. It is true that we need to start standing up and taking action, something does need to be done, but its not Rush keeping something from happening its people like you who are waiting for a leader. Stand up without being asked, maybe one of you who is waiting for a leader actually is that leader.

What benefit is there to having someone annouce and analyze the evil/unpopular activities that one hopes to engage in without notice? Only the severely irrational might do so. Others like to watch Anderson Cooper, Olbermann and Matthews, that is a choice they make. I love this country and want what is best for this country. Rush, Sean and Glenn are three examples of what makes this country great. All three worked their ars off, have faced diversity and have become 3 top voices on talk radio. That would draw unwanted attention from the media….. you know they would say this was a FOX/REPUBLICAN sponsored event. We know its not…. and it should be portrayed for what it is……AVERAGE AMERICANS OUTRAGED!! I sent Glenn Beck (who I love) an e-mail inviting him to join us as an American Citizen. Hi, Ken! It’s not just the political leaders who need repair – it’s also the media. I think these people have been “Obamatized” – stories they made up to excoriate George Bush aren’t even being looked at about the Annointed One. Example? The BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
We NEED tea parties! If’ you’ve listened to Rush, Sean, Glenn, Mike, Mark, Steve, etc., then you know they’re doing their part to let the world know what is happening. The next thing is to boycott ABC, CBS, NBC and the liberal newspapers. I know — I worked for a newspaper for 30 years and am now thankfully unemployed (though I am looking for work). Boycott not only the stations and their satellites – boycott the companies that own them and the advertisers who put their incessant, inane commercials on them.
I definitely hope Glenn attends. As for me? I have no money and no job so I can’t be there in person but I certainly can be there in spirit.

I hear Glenn Beck mention that there was going to be a march on 9/12 in Washington. He also said that he was ask to speak but he knew very little about it. He didn’t even know who was sponsoring the event. Someone please inform him, Fox News needs to start talking this up. Americans need to wake up. We need louder voices than ours Beck and Hanity, please support this march.

Go for 1 day instead of 3. Orbitz has great rates. A march on the captio,the same day, l only dilutes both events. I have posted before that there should be a march on every state capitol the same day, a week day, after the 9-12 event. We will have thouands more show up at the state captiols. Good idea, in my opinion timing is bad.
For those who cannot afford to make the trip to Washington … organizing marches on the state capitals in every state (coordinated with the Washington march) is a WONDERFUL idea. Perhaps state Tea Party organizations should organize state marches as a participation option.
I am out of work on unemployment. The job market is not good right now, and I have very limited funds. But I will put money aside to save for the trip from Atlanta to DC for this protest. The socialist POTUS BO has to go and all his appointees. I do not believe that he is a natural born citizen. He lies, he covers up, he has communist friends, and he is destroying this country. It is unbelievable that we elected him. I think we should march to the capital and take over the house and senate and elect new leaders. It’s time for some serious action to take back our country. I’m from the Rockford area and me and 4 others are flying out there for the march!! If you cannot take a bus everyone needs to look into airfare and hotal on yahoo or one of those other travel sites. I got 2 nights in a very nice hotel with airfare for $240.

I listen to you on radio and watch you on television. Good job.
I don’t think the 912 march is not as much a march against something as it is a march for something. This changes it from a negative to a positive.
It’s a march for democracy, freedom, in defense of Christianity and of the Constitution of the United States. It’s a march to declare the will of the people.
Small groups spotted around the country that listen to your broadcasts gather together on the job or at meeting places and whine and complain but it means nothing. We need a show of public support. We need numbers. We need a large rally.
You speak great things in support of America’s values; this rally is not something you should just attend but you should be a leader of it.
I can assure you all that Glenn Beck now knows who and what this is. We’re just waiting for the reply.
I have sent Glen Beck, Sean Hannity, Rush and G. Gordon Liddy emails informing them of our efforts to get the numbers out to the 9/12 March on Washington. I also sent them a copy of the flyer that has been prepared and circulated in the DC Metro Area and is now finding it’s way across the nation.
I have tried several times to e-mail glenn and sean about a mil man march on wash. But i never hear about it. I think the person is correct in saying they don’t really care. They just want to keep you listening so you buy from their sponsors. Seans people hung up on me three times when i said i wanted to make a suggestion about it. All they wanted was someone that wanted to dissagree with sean. I’m glad to see someone is talking about diong what I have said to do all along. M.M.M. on washington. Most of his initiatives have nothing to do with solving the problems he “inherited”. They have to do with increasing the power of the Federal government. Plus, if you listen to his various appointees (i.e. Ms. Napolitano, Tim Geitner, etc.) they are actually starting to sound an awful lot like the folks from the Bush administration. Your emotion is noted. First, let me say that I am NOT a fan of George Bush. He wasn’t a conservative, he was a globalist that governed from the “center” which is what liberals all say they want.
Maybe you should get your facts straight. Our economy had been heading to recession when Bush came into office.
We were attacked on 9/11/01 (Bush didn’t do that).
Bush went to war in both Iraq and Afghanistan. (While I don’t personally agree with the reasons he went into Iraq, going after Al Qaeda in Afghanistan was certainly justified. By the way, CONGRESS voted to go to war. Bush didn’t do it alone. Bush didn’t lie as the left professes. Bush, and the rest of the free world, were using what intelligence info was available. Albeit, faulty in some respects.
Now for the deficits. Yes, George Bush spent money like a Democrat! Yes, the deficit grew under Bush. Not 1/2 as much in 8 years as Obam has done in only 7 months!
The absolute worst thing Bush did, in my opinion, was to start the string of bailouts back in the fall. That Troubled Asset Relief Program (T.A.R.P.) money was allocated, but never spent by the Bush administration. In fact, much of it could, and has been, be repaid.
So Sybil, if you really want to have an intellectually honest discussion on issues, let’s join together in that effort. Throwing insults at either side is divisive and only plays into the hands of those that wish to keep us all divided.
We have a lot of challenges in America today. I don’t think any professional politician or political party is interested in solving our problems but rather their primal instinct is to perpetuate themselves in office.
We Americans can find solutions, but not until we agree to disagree on some issues and work together to solve the biggest problems. I beleive we need to change as many congressmen and senators as we possibly can. The longer they’ve been there the more tainted they are.

Um, I did not vote for Bush, and I do think he created a mess, unfortunately the mess is getting worse and going to become worse. I don’t just disagree with what this current government is doing, I disagree with the last. In fact, I don’t care who they are Republican or Democratic they are out of touch with the people.

What is the possibility of starting recall petitions against the members of congress and the senate that are in lock step with everything this administration is pushing on the American People? Those that ignore the opinion polls of “we the people” but say they are voting for the government take over of our medical, czars that report only to the president, the take over of private companies, etc. because the government knows what is better of us than those who elected them.
Wouldn’t it be a good thing to do recalls. Possibly the super majorities of the liberals in the house and senate might be broken. These would need to be started soon before they return from their break.

We have been going to every event and rally here in Ohio and Kentucky; we’ve been giving out flyers, getting signatures on petitions, making telephone calls to our congress people,meeting with them, burning up the internet researching and teaching each other, reading and learning everything we can about our opponents who have a long stretch ahead of us but we aren’t deterred. The Juggernaut and his Trolls, Minions and Czars are infiltrated in all levels of our government and throwing live hardware at us at lightening speed all day and through the night. It’s overwhelming at time but we aren’t deterred.
This Health Care Issue IS the ABSOLUTE line in the sand for America and many of our people don’t recognize it as such and realize the incredible implications it has for our children, youth and elderly who are disabled or chronically ill. I’ve been told repeatedly by sheople that they don’t look back when I bring up the spector of history repeating itself; including the Constitution!
This is a MOMENTOUS time to go to Washington right after the August recess. The townhalls are already heating up and we have one this evening in Cincy with Steve Driehaus, a Blue Dog Democrat – HeHeHe…can’t wait.
Anyway…adding your voice to ours in DC would be like the BEST thing you could do for OUR country and OUR people. You have been a great inspiration, whether you are comfortable with that honor or not, you have to bear it. It is what it is. Many of us, myself included, see parts of our personality in you and associate with you, so don’t EVER change.

Sounds like you all have some good stuff to say .The only real way to do that is to vote (if we still can) and to be as visible as possible . I don’t think the media should speak at this event. Cover it yes, but leave them to inform the public, tell us when to speak out and encourage us to pay attention to the government actions. Current Politicians would not be good either, they may agree with us but they should not be asked to represent a grass roots organization against their current administration. We need a true “We the people” person. Ron Pauls son might be o.k. especially if he is an independant and against this bill. Newt Ginrich and wife would be a great choice, he has the ideas and the knowledge . We need them there ! He could give ideas for speakers also. Michael Johns, Heritage Foundation (conservative speech writer for Whitehouse at one time). We need a Constitution guru to speak also. There is a wonderful video going around, a high school student did for one of the tea party’s, that video says it all. Wish it could be used and get our youth involved but not present. (It seems to be getting a little chaotic).
I heard it mentioned on Rush’s show yesterday too, not by Rush, but someone called in and said she was going to Washington on 9/12 and taking her kids.
Herman Cain said that we should not show our hand so far in advance because the opposition will build a bigger plan to confront us. So in that regard, I hope that the 9/12 march is not too well published until a few weeks before the event. Since the opposition is now orgainizing on how to turn town hall meetings in their favor, I think we should keep a low profile up until a few weeks before the event.
My 6th grade social studies students and I studied the beginnings of this great country, reviewing the establishment of the check-and-balances govt. and the U.S. Constitution. We examined the Bill of Rights and how it came about. Our forefathers were wise men who laid the foundation for freedom for the people. Millions of men and women have fought in horrible wars since then to preserve that freedom. I discussed with my students that theirs would be the next generation to preserve our freedom….and that our nation is still so young and how so many other great civilizations have fallen. Now, I realize that I was wrong….NOW is the time for my generation and all of us who are living now at this time and are able – to work to preserve this America as she was founded to be – “of the people, for the people, by the people” – or there will be no fredom left when my students reach adulthood. Please make your way to Washington D.C. or to your state capitol . I seriously fear for my country….and will do what I can to save our freedom. As for Beck or Hannity or Rush…..I think that these guys have their hears in this….not just their careers. I think that they may hesitate, though, to speak, or at leat in a leadership role, because that would take the emphasis off the people’s movement.

I am way out here in Utah. I am the 912 project organizer for my county. Utah is organizing 912 and also, we have a state legislator group called the Patrick Henry Caucus that is pushing states rights ( 10th Amendment ). They are communicating with other state legislators nation wide to support the 10th amendment movement. I only just found out about the march on Washington. If this can be done in a professional manner without violence it has great potential. What we don’t need is more fuel for the media’s fire to call us a mob, terrorists or what ever other negative label they choose to apply. We just had a very successful rally at the capitol in Salt Lake yesterday. I estimate 500+ people attended. We are growing in our separate groups all across the country. Through this internet media we can keep the groups up to date on what we are doing. I will talk to our state 912 project organizer ( Who is doing a great job ) about how we can best support the Washington march. All good patriotic Americans must stand together to save our country. I for one am not qualified to cast a stone at the president or any other member of congress, and neither is anyone else.
Let’s raise the bar in our standards. Act like true Christians with charity towards those who disagree with us. We can exercise real courage by not labeling people anything. We don’t need to use crude language to be heard. Let’s speak with dignity. Wise words can confound the opposition, but mockery degrades our purpose.
Focus on the god-given right to have the freedom to choose. That’s the point, not which ‘ism’ is more effective in producing desired results. There is no virtue in forced government charity. Charity by its very definition requires individual freedom of choice. When the government enforces charity, it is no longer charity. It is tyranny. We want to be free.

GEICO has agreed to no longer run its iconic car-insurance advertisements during the Glenn Beck Program, which broadcasts on the Fox News Channel cable network, the African-American advocacy organization ColorofChange.org said Wednesday.
The insurer, known for its ads featuring cavemen and a chatty gecko with a cockney accent, has joined a growing list of advertisers who are steering clear of Beck, a self-described “rodeo clown” and conservative commentator with a penchant for petulance and over-the-top criticism of President Barack Obama and other Democratic leaders.
Earlier this month, GEICO instructed its ad buyer “to redistribute its inventory of rotational spots” to other Fox-TV programs, ColorofChange said in a statement, citing an email received from GEICO. “As of August 4, GEICO no longer runs any paid advertising spots during Mr. Beck’s program,” the email read.
Among other sponsors who have pulled their ads from Beck’s show are household products companies Procter & Gamble (PG) and SC Johnson, and another insurer, Progressive Insurance (PGR), ColorofChange said. Progressive Insurance rep Cristy Cote said that the company wants to “avoid programming that we believe our customers and potential customers might find extremely offensive.”

Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and others, are good men and women, but talking heads. They each will need to make a decision as to what is most important to them, money and the corporation that ties them down, or LIBERTY. Everyone needs go and march on Washington D.C. 09.12.09. The US has the most expensive healthcare system in the world. It is almost twice as expensive as every other developed nation. This is largely due to administrative costs which account for 19-25% of healthcare costs, and up to 34% at for-profit hospitals.
Other than South Africa, America is the only developed country in the world that does not provide healthcare for all of its citizens.
Yet, the US ranks 26th in infant mortality and 24th in the number of healthy years a person can expect to live – putting America’s healthcare system in the company of Cuba and Slovenia rather than Canada and Western European nations.
And, despite ludicrous right-wing anecdotal claims of high dissatisfaction among those who live in countries with universal healthcare, the reality is that, with the exception of Italy, Americans are more dissatisfied with their healthcare than are the citizens of every other developed nation, including England, France, Germany, and Canada. Moreover, US doctors spend less time with patients that do doctors in other nations.
Rarely does Rush cower out of the secure enclaves of his EIB ivory tower, unless it is to benefit Rush and his personal agenda. The last real public appearance I have known Mr Limbaugh to attend and speak at was his infamous CPAC State of the Nation speech in DC (which I personally attended), and that was in February!!! ElRushbo owns the airwaves (I hear he paid off God Almighty Himself for full rights to the sky), so he doesn’t need to run around the country on our dime (or more like our billion bucks, which we don’t even have) like this “NoBomba” Obama guy promoting his gastapo health care propaganda, and pissing everybody off.
For those of you who criticize others, such as people who cannot go or people like Rush, Sean, Glenn, you are not doing us any favors. In fact, you are hurting more than helping by driving a wedge between us. I have to wonder about your motives. Ever hear the phrase “divide and conquer”? If someone has the same views, I consider them a brother or sister in the fight to keep this country free. I don’t care if they cannot afford to go or if they are radio station host making money talking about this situation. Anyone who opens their mouths and speaks the truth is doing us a great service and should be appreciated! The best thing you can do is stay informed, stay unified, and stay the course.
Glen Beck is better doing his bit on Foxx News. Don’t get me wrong the is great. But he would rally the troops but think about it, the rest of the press would use this to belittle our cause. Just us there is enough to annoy the news propagandists, the adminstation, congress, the house, the bench of the Supreme Court, and all other Liberals and even some fence blister butts so called conservative Republicans. The only people that we need is YOU and ME. When and if you get the chance to talk to the mainstream press make sure to use “I “yes “I” a lot in you sentences. When you say “we” the press groups you with nuts in their reports. Tell them that you are an average American who came to Washington to express you patriotism. Say “I” came here on “my” own to save “my” country. The “I’s” vote in other words but “we’s” are put into groups.

I personally would like to see Glenn Beck at the 9/12 Rally because I think that he can help to rally us together. However, we need to respect him, if for whatever reason, he feels that he can not. I am very happy that we have media people like Sean, Glenn, Rush and others who have the guts to tell us the truth! Where else would we find out what is really happening in this country?!!? Those who question their motives or loyalty need to rethink what they are saying. Sure they make a living telling us these things, but I am sure that they could make an easier living doing something else. These people are threatened all the time. That is not an easy way to live! You have to really have a passion for what you are saying to keep putting yourself out there to be attacked and threatened as they are. We also have that passion. Sure, it would be easier for us all to sit home with our TV remotes and not care about what is happening in this country. But, we are Americans! It is in our DNA to fight tyranny, and we can not rest until our country is out of the hands of those who seek to destroy it! People, please wake up! Tell everyone you know and everyone you see about what is going on! If we do not open our mouths now, we could soon be silenced forever! All the questions that you have been asking Washington for weeks now have gone unanswered. I believe they will never be answered unless we force Obamas hand. No, we have this chance and maybe ONLY this chance to stand. I truly believe the coming march on D.C. should focus on getting ANSWERS to those questions! We need to send a single certified letter directly to Barack Obama to let him know the reason we are coming to Washington is to get those answers and we are not returning home until we get ‘em. Regardless if it takes days, weeks, months. If we can’t get answers now, we will never get them. And I truly believe this will be the beginning of the end for freedom in this country. We will have been out maneuvered.
How does a march this large stay focused on the job at hand? Who will stand that day to represent all that have come from so far and begin the call for answers? There is too much to lose. We need answers now! Please mention it on all your broadcasts, starting today, that the MAIN reason for this march is to get these questions answered! The people of this grand republic deserve to know now “WHO” is really in the White House.
