If you agree with Glenn Beck and want him to continue his mission to inform, please click on this address and sign. He can’t be silenced, not now. Below is part of an article regarding the pressure that’s being mounted on FOX. We can’t let them succeed. Spread the word far and wide.

GEICO Cuts Ads from Glenn Beck’s Show

GEICO has agreed to no longer run its iconic car-insurance advertisements during the Glenn Beck Program, which broadcasts on the Fox News Channel cable network, the African-American advocacy organization ColorofChange.org said Wednesday.

The insurer, known for its ads featuring cavemen and a chatty gecko with a cockney accent, has joined a growing list of advertisers who are steering clear of Beck, a self-described “rodeo clown” and conservative commentator with a penchant for petulance and over-the-top criticism of President Barack Obama and other Democratic leaders.

Earlier this month, GEICO instructed its ad buyer “to redistribute its inventory of rotational spots” to other Fox-TV programs, ColorofChange said in a statement, citing an email received from GEICO. “As of August 4, GEICO no longer runs any paid advertising spots during Mr. Beck’s program,” the email read.

Among other sponsors who have pulled their ads from Beck’s show are household products companies Procter & Gamble (PG) and SC Johnson, and another insurer, Progressive Insurance (PGR), ColorofChange said. Progressive Insurance rep Cristy Cote said that the company wants to “avoid programming that we believe our customers and potential customers might find extremely offensive.”

    • Well, all I can say to these advertisers leaving is that we out to boycott them. It just tells us where THEY stand so we don’t need them! There’s no way we can have our voices snuffed. Would they dare to do that to ones that are for this absolutely insane bill? Of course not. It always seems that it’s okay for the other side to voice their opinion, no matter how obnoxious they get, but when we stand up for what’s right and tell America about the lies that they are being fed, we are out of line, called all sorts of names, etc. Well, guess that they don’t want anyone to know the truth. That’s what we’re all about, just trying to let them know exactly what this bill will mean to their future — government running our lives, dictating what health procedures we will and won’t have, what we can say and can’t say. That’s not America, that’s AmeriKa! Come on folks, read the bill yourself … that’s all we ask. What you are hearing from the proponents of this bill are lies … see for yourself and then tell us we are wrong.

      • HERE HERE!!! High five! I have a list of the so called boycotters and promptly crossed them off my list of people to do business with. Its not just because they are anti Beck…it’s because they think they have the power to shut down freedom of speech, whether you agree or disagree with Beck. They forget, like most politicians, that we the American public, are the ones who empower THEM by purchasing their products and/or electing them to office.

    • Well, all I can say to these advertisers leaving is that we ought to boycott them. It just tells us where THEY stand so we don’t need them! There’s no way we can have our voices snuffed. • Take two minutes and write an email to Geico. Tell them you will not be using their products because of their choices. Use your voice!

    • The left’s boycott of Whole Foods worked out great…for Whole Foods…as their sales drop they will come back and probably apoligize…They need us because we have the money to buy their producyts…we have the power through our wallets and purses to have a great impact on business and the media…let’s use it! See ya’ in DC

      • I actually started shopping at Whole Foods more since the boycott! Since when is speaking your mind unpatriotic. Keep it up.They are doing better since this ridiculous thing started.I have yet to encounter a protester outside one of their stores. If I am approached by one of you idiots remember to duck and run because I will kick your ass!

    • I love Glenn Beck! If you do too, you can get one of my new bumper stickers ” Glenn Beck For President”
They are for sale on Ebay – just type in Glenn Beck for President in Ebay Search.

    • You can for get us buying any of your products, and my wife will only use clorox but it or any product made by them will be ALLOWED in my home again.I am glad I didn’t switch to geico when ask even if have to pay $28.00 more a year.If you all run your companies like he is trying to ruin our lives I want no part of you.You can’t stand for someone to tell the truth,an I have checked alot of what he says an found it to be true

  2. Info obtained from a Anti-Beck site, we need to use this info and bombard these advertisers and let them know the boycott is on!!

  3. Walmart has now joined the rat pack pulling their advertising from his show. I think it’s time we boycott Walmart! With the millions of Americans who watch Glenn Beck, we can make a huge impact on Walmart’s bottom line, especially now that kids are going back to school…supplies, clothes, shoes. Let Walmart know that YOU support the First Amendment of the Constitution even if they don’t. Well we choose to use our right as consumers to shop where we want and it’s not Walmart. Pass this along to everyone who supports the First Amendment, they may not like Glenn but he has a right to free speech just like everyone else. Let’s support him or he will be off the air before you know it.

  4. BYW Walmart, I was a good customer of yours until now. I will pass this information along to all the other people I know that are Walmart shoppers.

  5. I have just found out about and looked at the colorofchange.org site, and I am sickened. These people are going to start another Civil War. Can we start our own “letter” to these scared ex-sponsers?

    • Absolutely, that’s why I included the names, addresses and phone numbers (and email where I could find them). We need to let these cowards know where the American public stands. WE won’t be intimidated!

  6. Beck is great

    but even he

    misses the bigger picture

    Either that, or

    he is too afraid

    to speak the frightening truth

    for fear of assasination

    http://o.bamapost.com/

There are dark forces at work

    but the thing is

we have to let those dark forces succeed in certain endeavors

for fullfillment of the prophecy to bring end times

We are living in exciting times and will soon be raptured if we are pure of heart

I will pray for all of you

    • Revelation 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Obama has spoken great things about “Change” and new prosperity for the world, written a book called “The Audacity of Hope.” Many would say his argument that he is the best pro-life candidate is a blasphemy.
42 months is about the length of a presidential term.

Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

In order to have power over all of the people of the Earth this would likely require a One-World-Government.
Obama talks about a New World Order in his Berlin speech that basically says Global Citizenship is required and not an option.
Many people already see Obama as the “President of the World.”

Daniel 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

Obama has primarily ran on messages of “Hope” and “Change” and Peace (opposing the Iraq War; Nuclear Disarmament – which is always in the name of peace but can actually cause great harm if the Super Powers like the USA do disarm, and a rogue country gets a hold of nuclear weapons)

Not to mention how the world has hailed him as a Messiah.. (A mountain named after him, a National Holiday in the works, Oprah calling him ‘The One’, Children Singing His Praises, Youth ‘Stepping’ in Military Fatigues for him, gathering crowds over 100,000 strong…) He has been seen by the non-religious as a ‘Secular Messiah’, and he has been compared to Jesus more and more frequently.

Revelation 13:16-17 “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

With a ‘New World Order’ and ‘Global Tax Cuts’ then a Global Tax is not far away, and has been on the U.N. drawing board for years.

The financial crisis has sped things up in the One-World-Government process.
We will we see an Global Bank with it’s own Global Currency! The movement towards the consolidation of European currencies into the Euro was a huge step.
The technology to track financial transactions is becoming better daily.
We are not far away from being able to have this ‘mark’ on our hand or head that will control our ability to purchase, the VeriChip is here!

5 Myths About Health Care Around the World
    By T.R. Reid
    Sunday, August 23, 2009

As Americans search for the cure to what ails our health-care system, we’ve overlooked an invaluable source of ideas and solutions: the rest of the world. All the other industrialized democracies have faced problems like ours, yet they’ve found ways to cover everybody — and still spend far less than we do.

I’ve traveled the world from Oslo to Osaka to see how other developed democracies provide health care. Instead of dismissing these models as “socialist,” we could adapt their solutions to fix our problems. To do that, we first have to dispel a few myths about health care abroad:

    1. It’s all socialized medicine out there.

Not so. Some countries, such as Britain, New Zealand and Cuba, do provide health care in government hospitals, with the government paying the bills. Others — for instance, Canada and Taiwan — rely on private-sector providers, paid for by government-run insurance. But many wealthy countries — including Germany, the Netherlands, Japan and Switzerland — provide universal coverage using private doctors, private hospitals and private insurance plans.

In some ways, health care is less “socialized” overseas than in the United States. Almost all Americans sign up for government insurance (Medicare) at age 65. In Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands, seniors stick with private insurance plans for life. Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is one of the planet’s purest examples of government-run health care.

    2. Overseas, care is rationed through limited choices or long lines.

Generally, no. Germans can sign up for any of the nation’s 200 private health insurance plans — a broader choice than any American has. If a German doesn’t like her insurance company, she can switch to another, with no increase in premium. The Swiss, too, can choose any insurance plan in the country.

In France and Japan, you don’t get a choice of insurance provider; you have to use the one designated for your company or your industry. But patients can go to any doctor, any hospital, any traditional healer. There are no U.S.-style limits such as “in-network” lists of doctors or “pre-authorization” for surgery. You pick any doctor, you get treatment — and insurance has to pay.

Canadians have their choice of providers. In Austria and Germany, if a doctor diagnoses a person as “stressed,” medical insurance pays for weekends at a health spa.

As for those notorious waiting lists, some countries are indeed plagued by them. Canada makes patients wait weeks or months for nonemergency care, as a way to keep costs down. But studies by the Commonwealth Fund and others report that many nations — Germany, Britain, Austria — outperform the United States on measures such as waiting times for appointments and for elective surgeries.

In Japan, waiting times are so short that most patients don’t bother to make an appointment. One Thursday morning in Tokyo, I called the prestigious orthopedic clinic at Keio University Hospital to schedule a consultation about my aching shoulder. “Why don’t you just drop by?” the receptionist said. That same afternoon, I was in the surgeon’s office. Dr. Nakamichi recommended an operation. “When could we do it?” I asked. The doctor checked his computer and said, “Tomorrow would be pretty difficult. Perhaps some day next week?”

    3. Foreign health-care systems are inefficient, bloated bureaucracies.

Much less so than here. It may seem to Americans that U.S.-style free enterprise — private-sector, for-profit health insurance — is naturally the most cost-effective way to pay for health care. But in fact, all the other payment systems are more efficient than ours.

U.S. health insurance companies have the highest administrative costs in the world; they spend roughly 20 cents of every dollar for nonmedical costs, such as paperwork, reviewing claims and marketing. France’s health insurance industry, in contrast, covers everybody and spends about 4 percent on administration. Canada’s universal insurance system, run by government bureaucrats, spends 6 percent on administration. In Taiwan, a leaner version of the Canadian model has administrative costs of 1.5 percent; one year, this figure ballooned to 2 percent, and the opposition parties savaged the government for wasting money.

The world champion at controlling medical costs is Japan, even though its aging population is a profligate consumer of medical care. On average, the Japanese go to the doctor 15 times a year, three times the U.S. rate. They have twice as many MRI scans and X-rays. Quality is high; life expectancy and recovery rates for major diseases are better than in the United States. And yet Japan spends about $3,400 per person annually on health care; the United States spends more than $7,000.

    4. Cost controls stifle innovation.

False. The United States is home to groundbreaking medical research, but so are other countries with much lower cost structures. Any American who’s had a hip or knee replacement is standing on French innovation. Deep-brain stimulation to treat depression is a Canadian breakthrough. Many of the wonder drugs promoted endlessly on American television, including Viagra, come from British, Swiss or Japanese labs.

Overseas, strict cost controls actually drive innovation. In the United States, an MRI scan of the neck region costs about $1,500. In Japan, the identical scan costs $98. Under the pressure of cost controls, Japanese researchers found ways to perform the same diagnostic technique for one-fifteenth the American price. (And Japanese labs still make a profit.)

Not really. American health insurance companies routinely reject applicants with a “preexisting condition” — precisely the people most likely to need the insurers’ service. They employ armies of adjusters to deny claims. If a customer is hit by a truck and faces big medical bills, the insurer’s “rescission department” digs through the records looking for grounds to cancel the policy, often while the victim is still in the hospital. The companies say they have to do this stuff to survive in a tough business.

Foreign health insurance companies, in contrast, must accept all applicants, and they can’t cancel as long as you pay your premiums. The plans are required to pay any claim submitted by a doctor or hospital (or health spa), usually within tight time limits. The big Swiss insurer Groupe Mutuel promises to pay all claims within five days. “Our customers love it,” the group’s chief executive told me. The corollary is that everyone is mandated to buy insurance, to give the plans an adequate pool of rate-payers.

The key difference is that foreign health insurance plans exist only to pay people’s medical bills, not to make a profit. The United States is the only developed country that lets insurance companies profit from basic health coverage.

In many ways, foreign health-care models are not really “foreign” to America, because our crazy-quilt health-care system uses elements of all of them. For Native Americans or veterans, we’re Britain: The government provides health care, funding it through general taxes, and patients get no bills. For people who get insurance through their jobs, we’re Germany: Premiums are split between workers and employers, and private insurance plans pay private doctors and hospitals. For people over 65, we’re Canada: Everyone pays premiums for an insurance plan run by the government, and the public plan pays private doctors and hospitals according to a set fee schedule. And for the tens of millions without insurance coverage, we’re Burundi or Burma: In the world’s poor nations, sick people pay out of pocket for medical care; those who can’t pay stay sick or die.

This fragmentation is another reason that we spend more than anybody else and still leave millions without coverage. All the other developed countries have settled on one model for health-care delivery and finance; we’ve blended them all into a costly, confusing bureaucratic mess.

Which, in turn, punctures the most persistent myth of all: that America has “the finest health care” in the world. We don’t. In terms of results, almost all advanced countries have better national health statistics than the United States does. In terms of finance, we force 700,000 Americans into bankruptcy each year because of medical bills. In France, the number of medical bankruptcies is zero. Britain: zero. Japan: zero. Germany: zero.

Given our remarkable medical assets — the best-educated doctors and nurses, the most advanced hospitals, world-class research — the United States could be, and should be, the best in the world. To get there, though, we have to be willing to learn some lessons about health-care administration from the other industrialized democracies.

T.R. Reid, a former Washington Post reporter, is the author of “The Healing of America: A Global Quest for Better, Cheaper, and Fairer Health Care,” to be published Monday.

    • Amazing article! Thank you Gal.

      That man is a hero.

    • What you so conveniently omit here is the fact that people in other countries are TAXED HEAVILY to pay for healthcare!!! And if other countries have such great healthcare, why do so many people travel here to the U.S. for medical treatment???

    • You forgot one major item we have to deal with that the other countries don’t….lawyers…..Can you go make another trip and report back to us about the other countries legal systems…..Look folks the bottom line is we have major corruption in this country and it works like this…Bozo on capital hill says I’m going to pass this law…then the “K” Street gang from both sides of the issue start throwing money at Bozo to get Bozo to do it or not do it….Simple…We the people do not enter in to the equation in any way….We just bailed out Wall Street…not just the bad loans, but the investment bankers too…See there was a lot of money betting the sub-prime loans would succeeed and an equal number betting they would fail….AIG insured their positions figuring they would not all fail at one time…you know the rest of that story.

The major banks were given taxpayer dollars (I’ll no longer call any government money anything but taxpayer dollars) to buy up smaller banks, then they go through their loans and if there are any that do not meet their new loan to value ratio they go to the customer and tell them they need to buy down the principal to meet the new “regulations” or they will be foreclosed on…this is legal extortion, but people are paying…If they can’t pay they are foreclosed on, lose their credit rating or worse (bankruptcy)…now after the banks extort the property from their clients they sell the note to their buddies on Wall Street for .30 cets on the dollar or less with a judges approval….Does any of that make economic sense? Of course not! It is theft of the wealth of the middle class.

Starting now through 2012 the same will happen to the commercial real estate market, notice the empty stores at strip malls, empty apartment buildings, empty stores in large malls, car lots (new and used), building supply houses, industrial property, etc….This will be theft of upper class and upper middle class propery by the banks….Now ask youself who owns or controls the banks? Our government and the internatinal banking cartel, otherwise known as The Fed….This may be why they are not spending the rest of the stimulus money now..(stimulus my ass, that money was used to save government jobs and prop up their retirement plans)

Now do you think these guys will be paying property taxes on all of the confiscated property? of course not…the people left owning property will see huge tax increases and the taxpayers on a whole will see fees and other taxes rise dramatically….Folks this isn’t about stopping Obama..he’s merely a puppet in this scenario, a useful idiot if you will…we can’t stop until we revamp the current system, abolish the fed and get our country back to following the constitution…I was never a fan of term limits, but I think they are needed now.

  9. Want healthcare reform now? Well, the private sector has a solution and needs everyone to get on board by 9/12.

We need to spread this everywhere we can!

  10. To all Glenn Beck fans: check out this website: http://www.defendglenn.com. Fight back against the boycott of Beck.

  11. According to AP many advertisers are leaving Glen Beck show due to his comments about Obama.
Let’s face it, the real reason is groups of radicals are beating up on the advertisers and as usual they are caving into to the radicals.
I suggest if Beck is taken off the air due to lack of sponsors, the people that want him to stay on the air boycott one or more of the companies that pulled their advertising.
We don’t have to demonstrate at the companies and at the homes of the executives of those companies, like the radicals that are being funded by tax payer money. We just won’t buy the products of those companies.
The bottom line for these advertisers is money. That is the reason they always cave in to those small radical groups, the fear of losing sales.
Well maybe it’s time for the people to rise up in this area too. Just don’t buy the products of the companies that caved into the radicals.
We can all call it our little contribution to, FREEDOM OF SPEECH!
It’s not freedom of speech? Well then call it whatever the far left and liberals call it when they are expressing their opinions in the same manner.

  12. If you haven’t seen this, it is seriously bone chilling.

    • Brett ….thanks so much for the YouTube link to “The Obama Deception”…..frikkin’ bone-chilling to this 75-year-old Korean War veteran.

Forwarding it to many friends. I must admit that I have been complacent about what’s going on in the Administration …. now, I’ll be more vigilant and, hopefully, more aware. I may even be able to do something about it with my vote…..if voting is still allowed in the next couple of years.

Note to Homeland Security and other “terrorist-monitoring” agencies: I’m not a terrorist, I’m simply a veteran who loves my country, a member of the NRA and gun owner, member of the American Legion, a Lutheran, a beer drinker and all-around nice guy. Oh yeah, I like college and professional football, NASCAR, European football, basketball, the Olympics and the Special Olympics ….almost forgot, I like women, too.

Share Print CommentsWASHINGTON — A former top official for Voice of America was indicted Friday on corruption charges, accused of taking thousands of dollars in concert and sports tickets in exchange for favors to disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

Horace Cooper, who is also a one-time aide to former Republican House Majority Leader Dick Armey, is accused of defrauding the government after getting choice seats to see ‘N Sync, the Dixie Chicks, and Bruce Springsteen, among others.

The indictment charges Cooper agreed to use his position at Voice of America – and his subsequent job at the Labor Department – to advance the interests of Abramoff and his clients.

Abramoff was sentenced in September 2008 to four years in prison on charges of mail fraud, conspiracy and tax evasion. Since pleading guilty in 2006, the once-powerful lobbyist has cooperated with the federal investigation of influence-peddling in Washington.

The long-running corruption probe has led to the convictions of one former congressman – Republican Bob Ney of Ohio – and 16 others, including lobbyists, Bush administration officials, congressional staffers and businessmen.

Prosecutors say that between 2002 and 2004, Cooper received thousands of dollars worth of free meals or drinks at Abramoff’s restaurant, as well as a free Super Bowl party for him and about 25 friends.

The five-count indictment charges Cooper also took thousands of dollars worth of free entertainment, including tickets to professional baseball, hockey, basketball, and tennis events, as well as concert tickets.

Officials say Cooper did not report the gifts on government paperwork.

Cooper’s lawyer, Solomon Wisenberg, denied the charges.

“We are very disappointed that the Department of Justice has decided to go forward with these charges,” the lawyer said. “Horace Cooper is innocent and we look forward to our day in court.”

Cooper, 44, worked as chief of staff at Voice of America in 2002, before taking the same position at the Department of Labor’s Employment Standards Administration, where he worked until 2005.

In both positions, prosecutors charge, he used his official position to advance the private interests of the lobbyist Abramoff and his clients.

The indictment charges Cooper agreed to help Abramoff secure VOA funding for the lobbyist’s newly formed television production business, and assist an Abramoff client, a Mariana Islands garment manufacturer, with an investigation they were facing by the U.S. Department of Labor.

He is due in court next month on charges of fraudulent concealment, false statements, and one count of obstruction of an official proceeding. He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted of the most serious charge

  16. Beck is a neocon who is trying to foment division, by playing the left/right paradigm. I believe there is a movement afoot, but its truly bigger than Beck could ever hope to be. Isnt it true, Mr Beck, that you called for the arrest of true patriots who just might have an allegiance to the Ron Paul movement? Arent you on record for supporting the banker bailout? Benedict Arnold was a patriot til it was revealed he sold his soul to the enemy… You sir, are a ‘presstitute’.

    • I only just recently figured out Rupert Murdochs evil genius with his media empire.

His organization is like the conservative national enquirer.

Pushing radical lies that incite the right-wing (not just in the US) crazies.

BUT – I don’t think it’s to advance any kind of conservative agendas, to be honest.

Consider, if you will, that he is a news mogul. To be a successful in this, one needs to be able to get the eyeballs to ones paper or television which makes big advertising dollars.

To get the eyeballs you need to follow the old journalism rule “if it bleeds it leads”.

Therefore, by inciting so much radical action, he in fact creates a perpetually self-feeding loop of news and radical action. Also, by having so many different media organizations under one umbrella he can use them all to back each other up.

It’s actually so brilliant that I am jealous.

      • Yes!

        It’s all clear now

        so irresponsible

make money at any cost no matter what damage comes to society

The money power preys upon the nation in times of peace and conspires against it in times of adversity.

It is more despotic than monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, more selfish than bureaucracy.

I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country.

Corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until the wealth is aggregated in the hands of a few and the Republic is destroyed …

I feel at the moment more anxiety for the safety of my country than ever before, even in the midst of war.
