New Start Time for the March on DC
I just wanted to let everyone know that we are moving the actual start time for the March down Pennsylvania Ave. to 11:30am on 9-12. We just worked this out with the DC Metro Police. This doesn’t change things much, and just gives you all more time to gather and get organized before the March begins.
At Freedom Plaza, we will have speakers and music starting around 9:00am, which is the same time we originally planned to gather. Folks that don’t want to participate in the March, or can’t because of health conditions are encouraged to head down to the West Lawn of the Capitol building and wait for the marchers there.
As far as getting to Freedom Plaza, your best bet is to take the Metro to Federal Triangle, McPherson Square or Metro Center. Bus access to this area may be limited, so check out our guidelines for buses coming into the city.

Did you notice it? Read it again and come to your own conclusions. That’s right! She voted for Obama. I’d bet that God was trying to tell us that she deserved death for helping to fulfill the socialist agenda. We’ll be looking for God to provide proof that it wasn’t the case but we shouldn’t hold our breath.

Fact: So vote for Obama
Fact: She was happy to see a black man become president
Can anyone deny these FACTS?
How can we not come to the conclusion that she was anything but a racist?
Poor woman would have been euthanized in a second by Obamacare.

I have pity for statists such as yourself that make feeble attempts to pose as right-wing nutcases. Anyone with half a brain can see past your ploy. This rally is about protesting the growth of government in a country that was never intended to have a large federal government. This is not about racism, it never has been. Any true conservative chooses to ignore race and make sure everyone has equal opportunity, for that is one of the principles that the Constitution and the Declaration were founded upon.
Where were you when Bush cut taxes and spent away our surpluses for rich people who don’t give a shit about you? When he started a voluntary war that handed trillions to private companies that never had to compete for contracts?

I was on my way to the 9 12 march in D.C. to see if I could support this cause. I was just on the website looking for directions. But Glenn Beck’s post just convinced me not to go – I can’t support this. What a ridiculous post. I support less government ,am concerned about consolidation of power, and worry about run away spending. I watch Glenn Beck occasionally and think he is right about many things….but what is posted here is ridiculous and designed to whip up the fringe in this movement. I wish I could attend, but am unemployed as a result of our government not providing financial incentives to retain manufacturing in the US. I wil begin emailing the White House, Pelosi, and Reed tomorrow at 9am and recommend those that can not afford to travel to Washington to do the same! God help America, or government will not.

I am excited and stayed with my brother in Manassas, Va. I believe in this country and the folks who will show up tomorrow to support what used to be normal. We are called names like wingnuts, extremeists, bigots, etc. I believe each American there is a normal American. We are not trying to tear down this nation by getting rid of babies, the elderly, tax and spend, want something for nothing folks. We won’t be smoking dope, having orgies, destroying property, advancing our skin color, our religion. These are good people who are tired of not being heard by Washingon. These people who will be there love their country, not hate like some other organizations. We want this country to succeed, not fail. So please don’t catagorize us for caring how our country will turn out after this administrations ignorance of policy. We are hard working Americans that are not funded by any self interest group. We make our own signs and are not told what to say or do like some other groups. We are not kool-aid drinkers and we don’t follow the crowd. Tomorrow will be a wake up call to all Americans regardless of backgrounds or beliefs.

I was looking for any news of a march on Washington promoting healthcare reform and I stumbled on this site. As a fiscal conservative, I believe that we need to do what is needed to keep government spending under control and am yet a firm believer in the concept of the invisible hand of government when it comes to protecting and serving the interests of its people. There is nothing moral about business. Without this invisible hand there is no check and balance and as a country we will fall. Under the current system every HMO is able to conduct their own death panels denying a large number of lifesaving requests each year for the sake of profit and profit alone. Please by all means be good little Nazi’s and proceed with what amounts to a death march!
Good American, I don’t understand how the Left demonizes “business.” Business and corporations PAY people a salary which allows them to LIVE, to have a roof over their head, to provide for their families. Business produces products that we use to LIVE. I agree that many corporations get greedy — but those that are not that are simply trying to do business and survive are being DESTROYED through government intervention.
Our markets worked for decades without government intervention. As soon as the telephone monopolies were broken up it resulted in cheaper service and greater innovation for all. It’s how the market COULD work for healthcare if government would get the hell out of the way.
All I need from the government is upkeep of the roads, the military, the fire, and police. Everything else is just a waste of my hard earned money — ESPECIALLY these public schools which fail year after year, admit students of immigrants who do not pay taxes, and yet require more and more every year.

The constitution states that one must be natural-born in order to be eligible for office of the President. Natural-born means having an American mother and/or father regardless of where the child is born. That means President Obama could have be born in Kenya or Indonesia, or anyplace in the world and that not be a problem. And you know President Obama’s mother must have been an American because she was white.
Honestly, you people are so stupid, the best all of you could do is just leave America and go to some uninhabitable portion of the globe so you don’t trash the lives of the people there.

My question was where were these ‘patriots’ when Donald Rumsfeld lost $2,000,000,000,000 on Sept, 10th 2001 (trillion with a T)
When Bush promised smaller federal government during a townhall in 2000 but more than almost any other President he radically increased the powers of his office (almost to the pint of facism).
He made the federal government and its various branches larger and more inefficient as ever (hell he even started several new bureaucracies altogether).
Or perhaps when he promised not raise taxes and did that.
Or maybe when he allowed politicized hiring in the Department of Justice and undermined the fabric of justice at the utmost top level.
Face it conservatives you giving into a thick smokescreen that is blinding you from real facts.
I don’t intend to say that liberals have it figured out or that there aren’t crooks in Washington but wake up and realize your following like sheep the words of misinformed people that are grasping at power because your giving them a free ride and taking their words hook line and sinker.
