The Tea Party Movement Goes to Capitol Hill

About

The 09-12-09 Protest

It’s time to take the tea party movement directly to Washington, D.C. Please join thousands of local organizers and grassroots Americans from across the country as we gather in our nation’s capital to deliver a message to the politicians: Enough!

We’ve had enough of the out of control spending, the bailouts, the growth of big government and the soaring deficits. And we reject the future tax increases to pay for all of this spending and debt down the road. We are gathering on 9-12-2009 to deliver our message in person that we’ve had enough!

  1. If this is the day. Make sure. We all work for a living. But, we’ll show up and let these pieces of shit know we will defend our country.

    • You ppl are a bunch of @ssholes. You should just look at yourselves and look at what you’re saying…it’s just as contraDICKtory as any perceived opposing party’s viewpoint! You are a bunch of morons. For example, you’re all complaining about how the gov is too big, too corrupt or whatever…meanwhile 912dc.org web site has a link “to donate money..’cause you get a tax deduction”. does any moron on this web site see the contradiction?!? It’s just so sad that absolutely NONE of you are getting it…including your leader Beck (whom I think is OK, not great, but ok). I contend that 95% of the problems we complain about can be resolved if we all go back to the first grade and re-learn what it means to be respectful (yes, that includes me too so that I re-learn how to be respectful and stop calling ppl like you – who, for example, think that small gov is the answer – imbeciles). Wake up you bench of A-holes!

Hahahaha, and those followers..they look like hopeless/pitful sheep following a Shepard…not really knowing where they’re being lead…hahahahaha…bunch’a @ssholes

I will join any movement/march/etc that has as its core, R-E-S-P-E-C-T (as defined as dignity for each and person regardless of D@ck size, race, gender, etc)…da’sit…nothin’ more, nothin’ less. Until then, you morons are on your own and I hope you wind up killing each other b/c that’s what you’ll wind up doing until that time you when you re-do the first grade.

      Mr Blogger

      • Dear Mr. Blogger, I have lived a long time and seen a lot of changes in this country. However, I have never wittnessed a Government so out of control. We have generated more debt in the past year that all debt combined in our HISTORY. You Sir cannot think past the moment. Have you studied our history, our constitution, and our founders intent when this great country was formed to be ran by “WE THE PEOPLE”. Sir it is obvious that you have no idea about being respectful, looking a person in the eye and giving and keeping your word. I am most likely wasting my time asking you to seriously look at the direction this country is going and the great loss of freedom and liberty that is happening. Many of our founders gave up their lives, their families and their wealth for this great nation. I will use the remaining time of my life to help turn us back to the direction intended for “WE THE PEOPLE”. Big Government was the greatest fear of our founders for they knew and lived under tyrants and for any free thinking person its easy to understand ” When the people fear their government its tyrany, when the government fears the people its liberty and freedom” I choose liberty!!

        • Bravo Sir. Very succinctly and eloquently worded. I too have had many years & have seen our freedoms errode. Remember the frog in the water story? I had the priviledge of serving my country during the Viet Nam era. My son served in Desert Storm. In fact my family has been fighting to protect & defend our freedom since the American Revolution only to watch as the liberal/socialist/communist hoardes steal it away. Read about communism. It talks about taking over the schools and the media to overthrow a country without ever firing a shot. Sound familiar? I have been blessed with children & grandchildren and now it is incumbent upon me to spend the rest of my days fighting to restore the freedoms that we have lost. May god bless America with another 2oo years!

      • This post from Mr Blogger is a joke. Right? Nobody could look at what is happening in this country now – not to mention the direction in which the leaders of both parties have taken us over the last 20 years – and think there is no cause for concern. This country is out of control, and we must take it back. This is way beyond just a “casue for concern”. I demand a return to constitutional government as defined by our founders. I demand the restoration of my personal individual liberties and economic freedom. I demand that my government – for the people, by the the people and of the people – get out of my way and do only what it is constitutionally permitted to do. I wil be in Washington on 9/12.

        • I was at the 9/12 march on D.C. I was never more proud to be an american when i reached the lawn of the capital, and turned around and watched for 2 hours as a river of real americans walked down penn ave. i walked around for 4hrs getting people to sign my t-shirt with their states name and i collected all 50 states and D.C. From the pics of the the presidents inog/ and what i saw that sat there were %50 more people for the protest than the inog/ and we were the big protest in history in D.C., I spoke with a D.C. cop and asked what the crowd control choppers estimated the number of people was and he told me around 1.8 million at 2 P.M. It was and event of a life time time, oh yeah we also shut down the highway system around D.C. with people trying to get in. one word AWSOME

          • For perspective – the actual crowd size was closer to 100k. It was a huge turnout! But we shouldn’t keep circulating that we had almost 2 million people there – I feel like that weakens us as we go on.

      • Did I understand you to say you were still in the first grade? Child, perhaps you still have time to learn your lessons.

      • Wow…..so full of hate and disrepect for yourself….I am embarassed for you actually. People like you are very scary individuals. I have always said…Upbringing is EVERYTHING!

      • Mr. Blogger, now I am not going to tell you that I’ve lived through many eras of America because I haven’t. In fact I have only just graduated from high school and am now enrolled in college. What I will tell you is this. I don’t need even a high school diploma to know that we, as a country, have taken a turn for the worse. We have gone from America: Land of the FREE to America: Land of the “What can my Government do for ME and how can it protect ME from my next Srew Up.” This idea has got to change. A wise person once said, “That government which governs least governs best.” Let us once again follow our true American roots and philosophies.

      • Who cares if there is a ‘donate’ button on the bottom of the page? Do you think Obama didn’t except millions in donations from celebrites? Don’t be an idiot, every organization takes donations. People who want big government want other people to take care of them, plain and simple. I am not rich… not by California standards anyways… and if this new “Universal Healthcare” system gets approved hard-working people like me with jobs and good insurance will be the ones paying for hippies like you to be able to get free dental check-ups. People like me with insurance will be taxed so people who are not responsible can get free healthcare. How is that fair? Of course something needs to be done about healthcare in this country, because in all reality there are too many people without it. But having hardworking taxpayers who will not use the service pay for it is out of control. I certainly do not have my hand out waiting for someone to take care of me. The economy has hit us all, but it is our responsibility as FREE Americans to take care of ourselves.

        • It just struck me when I read the part where you basically said uninsured people aren’t responsible. You can hate the “healthcare system” all you want but don’t hate it based on the assumption that no insurance means irresponsible. Some of us lose our jobs and can’t afford the thousands of dollars to pay for COBRA. Some of the uninsured are single moms trying to finish school and raise their child so the only job they can get doesn’t offer benefits unless they work full time. That’s me, single mom, five classes, and a crappy job. So I’m irresponsible bc her father bailed on me and I have no help…or am I irresponsible bc I won’t quit school and work full time for the insurance? Maybe I misunderstood, but not all of the uninsured are irresponsible hippies sitting in a field smoking weed. I’m not even asking for free healthcare, Texas gives discounted services for kids and that helps more than you yuppies could probably understand. Just keep in mind some of us only need a little help until we’re at a point when we can make more money and complain about being asked to help out. And if you want to talk about liberty, talk about the fact that an equal rights amendment has yet to be ratified for women.

      • This is Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, Keith Olberman and David Gregory la la land stuff.. Write on, fool. Huffington lives on Carmelina St. in West L.A. – go talk to her. Here’s hoping the Obama Administration lasts at least until Wednesday so he can give his little speech while wearing Depends and before he gets hauled off in a straight jacket. I really feel sorry for his daughters when they finally realize their dad is both the Cause and the Problem.

      • Ah, yes, Mr Blogger, you sound soooo like someone who believes in “dignity for each person” and R-E-S-P-E-C-T. I can tell by your intelligent and dignified language.
I find your example to be sadly too typical of liberal reaction to anything.
Incidentally, if you think such vomit-in-print inspires admiration for your opinion, think again.
Perhaps that is something you might practice doing.

      • Sir,

I believe as Reagan stated, ” growth, prosperity and ultimately human fulfillment, are created from the bottom up, not the government down.’ Also, in 1961 Reagan reminded us of the words by Socialist Norman Thomas , ” The American people would never vote for Socialism, but under the name of Liberalism would adopt every fragment of socialist program.” This guy ran for US President in 1927.

We are in very shakey times. Obama is a great speaker and motivator, but I see he is taking this country into a dark time. He is moving with lightening speed to change our constitiution with the multiple advisers HE has appointed. This action is creating changes in the executive branch of our governent. Senator Bird even stated the checks and balances set up to prevent centralized government are being diminished.

Really take a look, stand back, to see the whole picture. The stepping into finacial institutions, dissolving the CIA, support for ACORN, the people he associates with Van Jones, George Sorros, Bill Aires, Jermiah Johnson just to name a few .

Keep your head about you. Remenber to “always be cautious of those who would lower our profile, because they might just wind up lowering our flag.” R.R.

        American girl

      • Too bad you didn’t pay attention in school. Not sure how old you are, but I have seen the schools dumbed down over the the past 25 years to the point that it is ridiculous how much money goes into schools, but the progress continues to go backwards; i.e., look at how little you understand what smaller government actually means, you must be on the side of the fence that wants to be “taken care of”. Have you heard the story about “the grasshopper & the ant”. Check it out, grasshopper.

      • Name calling is all people like you can do. You have no real facts, or support for your beliefs. So just keep drinking your Kool-aid, swearing at us, and we will continue to work towards taking our country back!!
Glenn Beck is not our “leader.” It is true that he issued us the challenge. But he did not do any of the planning. He mentioned it and backed away. Our leader is LADY LIBERTY. We need to get back to the way this country was, before big government took over.
So please, get off your computer, get back to your kool-aid, and leave us to take it back. You aren’t helping anyways.

    • Well, just investigate mobbing and gangstalking, and Bohemian Grove and the 500,000 coffins in Geogia and Texas, and the 800 FEMA concentration camps all across the United States, and all the other things that are going on. Get informed. Find out about these things. Find out what is going on. Some of these other things are just the tip of the iceberg. They are trying to get our attention off the real issues. What about looking up Navy swastika and see the Navy buildings in San Diego that are shaped like swastikas. Those aren’t the only ones, There is a rest home somewhere that is shaped like a swastika. There is a bridge over the Colorado River with lots of swastikas in the concrete construction. Wake up, people.

    • Mr. Blogger you must of voted for Obama and it is apparent that you did not achieve a higher level of learning as evidenced by your lack of intellect, common sense and rudementary communication skills. Talk about morons you take the cake. Our founding fathers required donations during the American Revolution to achieve of Freedom so what is so different now that our Freedoms are being jeapordized? Nothing, we shall stand, we shall fight and we shall defeat this current Administration run-mok. Obama is an IMPOSTER and he has violated the approprations process by appointing his 35 ZCARS which are not held accountable by the Congress nor by the taxpayers who pay their salaries. Sounds like something a DICTATOR would do. IMPEACH OBAMA NOW!!!

      • you make an argument about basic “rudimentary” skills. and yet you spell it wrong. for one thing. fail.

i dont understand why conservatives wrap themselves in the constitution.

        • The constitution is the document on which this country was founded on. It is the rock for our Republic to rest. Why would we not want to hold the public officials responsible for upholding the document?
What document would you suggest we “wrap ourselves in??”

          • Blogman – We Dems already have a bad name among the opposition – don’t make it worse by mocking someone’s desire to resort to the constitution. Remember – President Obama was a constitutional law professor. He, too, believes in the constitution. It’s a damned fine and well-written document that spells out the responsibilities of our government and the rights of our citizens. In fact, it’s the longest-running document of its type in the world.

      • ” Mr. Blogger you must of voted for Obama and it is apparent that you did not achieve a higher level of learning as evidenced by your lack of intellect, common sense and rudementary communication skills.” FYI before my comments: “must of voted” shows YOUR apparent lack of intellect.
Correction: Must HAVE voted. There should be a verb there, my friend.

President Obama has 33 czars. President Bush had 45. (Here’s a quick wiki link listing them out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._executive_branch_‘czars’)

One of you mentioned that President Obama was both the “Cause and the problem” – I disagree only because a lot of these problems were in place prior to January 20. Not saying that they weren’t also there before January of 2001 when Bush took office, or there before January 1993 when Clinton took office, etc, – but it’s just not a practical statement.

Health care and paying for illegals: Here’s a vote count showing where 207 Republicans and 9 Democrats voted in FAVOR of allowing Federally funded money go towards reimbursing state hospitals for the treatment of uninsured, illegal immigrants. http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2003/roll332.xml (Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC) is one of the Aye votes, FYI) Here’s a link to info on Section 1011: http://www.ncsl.org/default.aspx?tabid=14201

I don’t agree with a lot of what your group says, but I don’t disagree with all of it either. I just wanted to toss in a few links to credible sources of information. Re: the Czars, it’s hard for Reps to say they’re bad for a Dem president knowing the Rep president had more. Just be careful of your details, is all. Inferring that all our problems started on Jan 20th…not overly practical. Also – stating that 2million people were in DC last weekend when that’s not the case – doesn’t lend credibility to your cause. Fortunately – someone already corrected that, so that was good to see.

Both sides accuse and both sides exaggerate. I’m all for activism. Maybe one by one we’ll all make a positive difference. I just hate it that it’s so hard for us to even talk to each other. Again – maybe one by one, we’ll start coming together, finding common ground. I think we all want the same thing – to make this country greater, to afford us all with better opportunities, better jobs, better education, etc (I agree with the person who said that education in the last 25 years seems to be going downhill – a big reason why I’m now going back to school to get a teaching degree) – we’re just going about it differently. I think we’ll begin to find agreement eventually, it’ll just take a lot of hard work on both our parts.

        Thanks for reading this. :-)

    • Anyone heard of this PAC organization? They had one winner in 2008 (UT) and have 3 candidates for 2010 endorsed. They appear to be totally grassroots as I email and/or call the Chief of Staff almost daily.

    • Has anyone heard of The Independence Caucus?

    • you all are idiots

      • No facts to explain your position?! Of course not. Just name calling. Right out of Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. Sorry. No one really cares about what you think, unless you have valid points to back it up.

        Keep drinking the Kool-Aid.

    • Joe, seems waste of time insisting that people without character has a change of behavior. ,

  2. I will be there.

  3. 1% of all gun owner totals 940,000.00 Americans.. If 1 to 2 million show on 9/12 we can take back our Country

    ML Bellas

  4. I’m convinced that the ONLY way we grassroots Americans can convince our “elected” (read ‘bought’) representatives to stop the nonsense they are perpetrating is to ESTABLISH TERM LIMITS, AND REVOKE THEIR CURRENT COMPENSATION PACKAGE in favor of one similar to what other Federal Government employees have. But HOW?

    • I totally agree. The only way is to elect large numbers to congress that well enact that legislation. I have committed and informed by Congressmen that unless they show the ability to do their jobs i will not be voting for any incumbents in the Primary elections of 2010 and 2012. My goal is to replace them all with regular citizens with similar beliefs.

The only other avenue we as commom citizens have are to convince our individual states to call for a Constitutional Convention to amend that constitution. Not impossible but an uphill battle for sure.
Keep you chin up we can do this one step at a time. Hope to see you in Washington.

      • Sorry, but I don’t think that changing the constitution will help anything. The govenment is not following the constitution.
What happened to the Tenth ammendment? Look it up. The constitution doesn’t give the government the authority to take over banks, automobile manufacturers or health care.
The politicians are breaking the law. Which is why we must throw them all out.

      • How about we go back to following the constitution! Amend! Also if the pundits in DC really want to impress the American people, they should fix MEDICARE & MEDICAID instead of continuously taking away dollars to fund something that ain’t gonna fly with the attempted gov’t takeover of independent and personal health care coverages!!!

Damn DC idiots think they can be business men/women & they know jack-nuthin’ about managing their own checkbooks – they pay others to do that and then we put them in power to manage trillions? GET TORTE REFORM and fix the MEDICARE & MEDICAID – the president keeps referring to those two VERY FAILED GOV’T PROGRAMS. Maybe he is trying to tell us something. Three failed plans with the cash for clunkers proves their ineptness. Torte repairs now & stop creating jobs for other lawyers, cap the $$ amounts given to people over petty things especially and overhaul MEDICARE & MEDICAID & don’t call it something else as if you pundits think we are children. Start looking for a job all of you WV representatives. Joe, Robert, and John, you need to start looking for jobs because we are voting your lying, sheep following the goat (Pelosi) into the slaughter house, trying to drag the rest of us with you. Go alone and get a job!!! You are soooo fired!!!

    • I believe that you hit the nail on the head on this. If there were one thing we could do to break the cycle of corruption, it would be to impose term limits on Congress. But how can we do this without campaign finance reform? They (Republicans as well as Democrats) have rigged the system so that it is almost impossible to take back control. But that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t try. We need to elect honest people who are not part of the corrupt system. 2010 is our best chance since the slumbering silent majority has been awakened by the outrageous actions of the socialist leftists.

      • Ending Gerrymandering of Congressional districts might help a little. Too many Congressional districts are drawn to be safe for the incumbents. The redistricting after the 2010 census would be a good place to start.

        • You got that right! There should be no voting districts that do not follow geographic (instead of political) lines. ie. counties, townships, ect.
Unfortunately, most people are not aware of how incumbents are able to redraw the lines in order to give themselves a greater chance to be re-elected.
We are supposed to be able to pick our representatives, but the perverted system allows some representatives to select their constituents.
Throw them all out and start over!

          • Well said! The Brits is comin’!!! Burn ‘em out and fire the lot of them! No torte reform, no medicare/medicaid reform and leave the 80 percent of Americans happy with their insurance the way it is and we may let you remain a resident of our fair state provided you pay the same taxes we do and no pay raises for the first 4 years of service & no way do you get paid to live off of the taxpayers once you retire.

        • I agree whole heartedly.

          • I would also like to add one of my favorite quotes on how I feel about the current campaign model.

“Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.”
            –Douglas Adams

  5. I will be at the DC tea party

  6. Can anyone help me? A friend and I signed up for one event in DC and since then, we’re heard of others. We are now confused as to which one we signed up for. I don’t see anywhere here to contact the people in charge of this to ask. We’ve tried contacting others to ask if we’d signed on with them but no answer. We know of this (the march), a rally (only) at the Lincoln Memorial and, also, Feet To The Fire. We’d like to do all three. We wouldn’t want to fly there and find out we can’t attend this or that because we haven’t signed up with them. Please, can anyone give me any suggestions to help me find out? Thanks for any help you can give me/us.

  7. I think we start a letter writing, email and phone campaign requesting that the unspent portion of the stimulus package be “repealled” immediately. We need to stop the deficit spending before it happens. If enough ask for it maybe someone will introduce the bill and this will force the dems to again take a very unpopular position……Maybe I am being niave.

Is it possible for the electorate to remove a sitting president for bad performance through some sort of nonconfidence vote? Please educate me on that. k

    • The President can only be removed from office through impeachment by the U.S. House of Representatives and conviction by the U.S. Senate.

Article II Section 4 of the Constitution of the United States:

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

  8. Please give us updates and travel hints. C lyne and Laura

  9. This is the latest in a series of emails I send out regularly to friends and family. I hope you take the time to read it, and if you like, feel free to post it. I can be reached at the above email.

    Sincerely,

    Eric Curry
    eric.curry33@yahoo.com

You are receiving this email from me because of my hope and belief that we have a shared viewpoint in respect to the direction that this country is heading.

This is not a chain letter, nor is this a petition to ask for money. Indeed, there is no request inherent in this email, except that you ask yourself if you agree with the following:

    1. We are a nation founded on a Constitution and every citizen is endowed by his creator with certain, unalienable rights, including life, liberty and property.

    2. Our nation, as described in #1 above, is currently on a dangerous course to all-out Socialism/Marxism, a type of government that you do not wish to live under.

If you agree with these two basic ideas, then please read on.

    Friends and Family,

It has only been a month since my last email to you and the phenomenal speed and overwhelming volume in which our government has railroaded socialist “reforms” through the system is astonishing. Since last month at this time, consider the following:

-The Cap and Trade Bill (Waxman-Markey) was pushed through and approved by the House of Representatives. Al Gore has publicly stated that this bill will help in bringing about “Global Governance”.
-General Motors emerged from Bankruptcy in record time for a company of its size. Who has the largest ownership stake? The US Government with 60%. (The US Government is also one of the largest owners of US Banks, with around a 30% ownership in Citi to name just one)
-Sweeping legislation was passed against the tobacco industry giving the FDA unprecedented power to regulate ingredients, packaging and advertising.
-China now acknowledges owning $2 trillion in American debt.
-Multiple countries around the world are calling for a “new world currency” as faith in the US Dollar continues to plummet.
-The White House and Congress are seeking to create new restrictions on speculators investing money in certain commodity markets, namely oil and gas.
-The White House has nominated to the Supreme Court a self proclaimed “Wise Latina Woman” that has readily admitted to setting “policy” from the bench, and it appears likely she will be confirmed.
-The Healthcare Reform Bill is currently before both houses and signifies one of the most sweeping redistributions of wealth ever seen in this Country’s history.
-The White House is now beginning to discuss a second stimulus package as the effects of the first one are far from what was promised and unemployment continues to rise

While I could write books on each one of these, if you’re like me, you are busy enough with keeping your job, raising your family and paying your bills as agreed.

Therefore, I am dedicating the remainder of this email to the Health Care Reform Bill and providing you with sound reasoning and facts as to why this could be the biggest mistake our Government makes in our lifetime if it passes.

    Socialized Healthcare

    1. Healthcare is not a right. It is not guaranteed under any strict interpretation of the Constitution. There is no 44th amendment that guarantees healthcare to anyone. Healthcare is not a right, anymore than a job is, a home is, or a daily manicure is. You have the right to achieve those things through hard work, sacrifice, and determination, but you have no God Given right to any of them.

The Constitution guarantees us all the freedom to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Socialized healthcare is merely an all out assault by the Progressives in this Country to quickly move forward their world vision of a nanny state. Progressives and/or Socialists want life, liberty, and the delivery of happiness by the government. They want the government involved in all aspects of your lives: healthcare, science, banking, autos, food, and the environment. They fundamentally disagree with the notion that the government serves the people. In their minds, there is no greater power than the government itself, and there is no greater cause for the people than to serve the government.

To get this done, they will pander to the public at the lowest common denominator and scare as many people as possible into believing this Country will go bankrupt without it. Why? Because that tactic has worked before, just as it did for the bailouts of the car companies, the banks, and TARP. All were done with record speed, each being heralded as a fix the Country needed immediately, without debate, or the world would end. This fight will be no different.

    2. The stated goals of the Healthcare Plan according to the White House: give it to everyone, make it cheaper. The first we can refute based on the founding principles of this Country (equality of opportunity, not equality of condition). The second has been fundamentally destroyed by the CBO (Congressional Budget Office), the very analytical arm the US Government uses to evaluate proposed spending bills. In an article today in the WSJ:
Then there’s yesterday’s testimony, from Congressional Budget Office (CBO) Director Doug Elmendorf, that ObamaCare’s cost “savings” are an illusion. Mr. Obama claims government can cover more people and pay less to do it. But Mr. Elmendorf told the Senate Finance Committee that “In the legislation that has been reported we don’t see the sort of fundamental changes that would be necessary to reduce the trajectory of federal spending by a significant amount. And on the contrary, the legislation significantly expands the federal responsibility for health-care costs.”
Further on the public plan: “It raises the amount of activity that is growing at this unsustainable rate.”
    http://online.wsj.com/article_email/SB124779717982855785-lMyQjAxMDI5NDE3NzcxOTc3Wj.html
However, the Obama administration remains “confident that we will see a final bill that is both deficit-neutral and will reduce the rise in health-care cost growth in the years to come.” http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124775966602252285.html
REDUCE HEALTH CARE COSTS? FOR WHO? If you accept the fantastical argument that health care will actually become cheaper, then the logical conclusion is that, “Yes, we should all expect cheaper health care because it will be of drastically lesser quality than we have now.” And if that is truly to be the case, would it make you feel more or less confident in the healthcare system? If a loved one needed major surgery to remove cancer, would you first shop around for the best price or would you immediately seek the most qualified and accomplished oncologist?
Is healthcare expensive now? You bet it is. And when it comes to your own health and the health of your family…you get what you pay for.
    3. There are plenty of other countries with socialized healthcare, and we are constantly told they have superior systems. If that is indeed the case, then I pose to you another question. The next time you or a loved one becomes gravely ill, will you choose to obtain healthcare in Canada, Cuba, or the United States? Why?
    4. A common tactic for supporting the case of health care “reform” is for those that support it to say to it’s opponents…”What’s your plan?”. This is merely a way to get you drawn into the argument that there indeed has to be some “master plan” that has to be passed. What King in What Country has dictated that we have to have some sort of plan and that it has to be passed as soon as possible? (I am operating on the assumption that we do not live in an aristocracy) Did you drive into work today and run over all of the rotting corpses lying in the street because they couldn’t get health care? Make those supporting this socialist policy logically defend their position based on the preceding three arguments first, and do not be drawn into an argument where you must come up with a “plan”.
    5. The corrupt and self-centered bastards running this country (and I am not being party specific here) are masters at this game. Many have done little else in their pointless lives but stomp on the people of this country and have passed such legislation in the dead of night without so much as a thought to those that pay their salaries, or who they truly work for. This time will be no different.
They will throw their anchor into such an unacceptable place of cost and taxes that the public will cry out. Then they will convince you that they have listened and will retract some in their positions, lulling you back into a slumber as you justify in your own mind that hopefully it won’t be as bad as they initially sought to make it.
In reality, what they have accomplished is getting you to compromise. To wind up paying more for less, socializing yet another aspect of the free market economy and “distributing more wealth”. YOU must understand this is their game. DO NOT COMPROMISE. If you do, the government will manage to get another turn of the rope around your freedom, and it will be impossible to undo.
    6. Be mindful of the misdirection, another tactic they are masters of. There will be endless bantering about the effects of the proposed taxes on the rich (as they continue to be vilified), entrepreneurs, and eventually the middle class. That’s not the point. THE POINT IS that taxes will go up no matter what. That is not being disputed by anyone.
When was the last time the government simply stated, “ya know what? We have taken enough taxpayer money already, let’s deal with what we have”. NEVER. Instead they seek to continue to bleed those who work hard everyday. It’s death by a thousand cuts. Do you wish to pay more taxes at all? Are you willing to sacrifice more of what you work hard to earn? Just remember that when you go to work on Monday, if your tax bracket is 30% and you work an 8 hour workday, almost 2.5 hours of your work on Monday will go to the Federal Government.
Friends & Family, I know this is a lot to take in, but it is not political rocket science. It is Common Sense, based on the firm foundation of the values we were raised with. Life, Liberty, and Freedom to pursue our own futures and fortunes without the stranglehold of an ever increasingly powerful master…the government.
And so, I leave you with this.
Remember what got us into this mess in the first place? The government, irresponsible people and corporations spending more than they could afford. If you were near bankruptcy and were strangled with debt, what would be your solution? Would it be to go on a shopping spree, buy two new cars, buy a second home and get three new credit cards and max them all out immediately?
Well, that’s exactly the plan the Federal Government has.
Here is what your Vice President, absolutely intoxicated with power said on Thursday:
Vice President Joe Biden told people attending an AARP town hall meeting that unless the Democrat-supported health care plan becomes law the nation will go bankrupt and that the only way to avoid that fate is for the government to spend more money.

“And folks look, AARP knows and the people with me here today know, the president knows, and I know, that the status quo is simply not acceptable,” Biden said at the event on Thursday in Alexandria, Va. “It’s totally unacceptable. And it’s completely unsustainable. Even if we wanted to keep it the way we have it now. It can’t do it financially.”

“We’re going to go bankrupt as a nation,” Biden said.

“Now, people when I say that look at me and say, ‘What are you talking about, Joe? You’re telling me we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt?’” Biden said. “The answer is yes, that’s what I’m telling you.”

Lastly, after someone was nice enough to inquire, I do in fact, write these emails myself. I read a great deal, listen to both sides on the radio, and do a great deal on internalizing. These are thoughts that keep me up at night, worrying about my children’s future. I take the time to put them on paper and share them with you in hopes we, however small we start out to be, can help to save this Country.

    What can you do now?
    1. Know what you believe. You will be asked to compromise. Do not.
    2. Do not be afraid to let your voice be heard. Disregard their tactics of labeling you a racist, nut job, or fanatic. They will always choose this tactic instead of trying to debate the issues on their own merit in hopes of silencing you. Do not let them any longer.
    3. Remain peaceful.
    4. Remember that we fight now to regain our country in honor of those that have come before us, and our children who will come after us.
    5. If you find truth and agree with the content of my emails, consider forwarding it to someone who may also share our beliefs. Together we must stand or together we will all fall.

    Respectfully,

    Eric

    • Mission Statement of the National Rational Party.
The National Rational Party will reduce all forms of government by reducing demand for government. The demand will be reduced by promoting individual freedom and recognizing responsibilities to our fellow man.
In a Free Market, Demand and Supply will always correlate with each other. Irresponsible behavior by government, business and individuals has increased the demand for government as people have been unable to learn to take care of themselves and their fellow man. Politicians have reacted to supply the demand. Irresponsibility results from a lack of freedom to learn ones moral duty and ability to exercise ones freedom.
True freedom is not selfish, it empowers and creates social, economic and moral wealth on an exponentially greater level than exist now or has ever existed in this country.
The National Rational Party will be the party which reconfirms the value of a constitutional democratic republic where Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of true happiness are the most important values that can be attained physically on the earth.
The National Rational party will aggressively pursue true happiness and freedom for all, through law making, amendment, and legitimate occupation of the several branches of government.
      Ethics Code of Members.
Members of the National Rational Party shall be Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Thoughtful, Cheerful, Thrifty, Clean, Brave, Reverent, and Vigilant. (Thank you, Sir Baden Powell)
      Responsibilities of Members.
Members of the National Rational Party shall promise to do their best, to do their duty to their higher power, and to their country, to help other people at all times and to follow the Ethics Code of Members, to keep themselves physically prepared, mentally awake and morally straight.

This is the third party I think we’ve all been looking for, the disenchanted from both partys would join.
(just an Idea I had one day)
      Thank you

  10. What is your policy re submissions and links? We have identical purposes.

  11. just read most of eric’s e-mail and agree with him wholeheartedly.

now americans, enough talk, it’s time for action. the american people who still have enough common sense
left must rise up in righteous indignation and restore our country to the values and principles upon which it was founded. we need to do this by organizing and supporting in any and every way we can this great effort.

i always remind my fellow-citizens that each one of them have the power of the three V’s. they have their Voice, they have their Valuables (time and money), and they have their Vote! use them my fellow-citizens…
and use them now!. by so doing, we can one day have Victory!

    • Bill
I love your comment on the three V’s!!! In my opinion the most important V at the moment Is Valuables. We currently live in a society that feels it is okay to support some of the most filthy rich industries on the planet. Now, I am not anti capitalist, If you can create a great industry and make tons of money I congratulate you. It is our willingness to pay over $10 a movie that supports a bloated movie industry, our willingness to pay incredible amounts to watch and attend sporting events that pay someone who swings a bat millions of dollars, and our overall lack of fiscal responsibility that have set the imbalances in our society. If we continue down this path of fiscal irresponsible actions our voice will have little effect. Like Churchill said, “Speak softly and carry a big stick”.

  12. I have an idea but need to get to my pictures? This is primarily for the left wing liberals! My question to you is do y0u wnat your city or your county to look like this someday? And remember this is a seven square mile area taken tem miles away from a mountain we called monkey mountain. This picture is the real deal and me and my fellow soldiers were within 100 yards of the ammo dump that exploded due to a short round! If we do not pull together and come to some type of conclusion we could become at war again against each other and the is what it looks like for what this may be worth to you people who think they do not care either way! This should make you stop and think? I know I certainly would not want my love ones involved in any of this thing we call war! Mike Ford Roberts

  18. A respectful suggestion to make your collective voices heard & count with lasting impression. Your working against the grain- officials don’t care to hear us; the fact has always been that once elected, regardless of promises, all have done as they please. Officials just care enough to keep us quiet, and care to know ways of robbing us more euphomistically called tax.
Why collectively go begging to reduce taxes! Where is your power in that!

Our suggestion is really a solution, one that touches every part of our lives on a daily basis. Please click on the video to listen. I you could respond with your e-mail address I will send you 3 supporting attachments to put the solution to practical use immediately. 20. Fellow Patriots ; Momentum is building.
The 535 elite Princes and Princesses have reluctantly left DC to visit with the Serfs.

Aren’t they surprised! …. We are mad as hell and were not going to take it any more!

At first I could not believe that I was painting protest signs at age 50; then driving from NY to NH supporting Free Staters and signing petitions to Audit the Fed, writing press releases for Tea Party protests in Kingston, Albany and elsewhere.

But you gotta know that this is NOTHING compared to having to answer to my future grandkids the question:

“Grandpa, how did you let this happen to America? ”

Now get off your butts and see that our numbers frighten the living crap out of those facistic bastards! Next stop DC!

  21. We look forward to joining everyone on 9-12!

I think the timing will be perfect.

Let’s Just keep it Simple. = new motto for government

  22. My question is to those on this site calling for a bloody revolution. Especially using the quote about blood of tyrants replenishing the tree of liberty or whatever. Who is on your list of people that need their blood to be spilt?

  23. Just heard about this web site on Hannity and ex-
pected to find a more informative website. Info on
the DC days. Who’s speaking ? Daily scheduals
from thursday through Sun. Anyone or any particu-
lar place to connect right off bat on thursday when
we arrive? If I’m not at the right website is there a
differant website that could give me more informa- tion, even info tion on 9.12 in Washington and or info about the
Freedom Works group. I participate with a couple of diff-
erant groups here in MI. and will see ya’ll there.

  26. I read each and every one of the above posts. I am beyond words at the total lack of organization, respect and the lack of I.Q.that so many of you show. I am beyond a doubt that the only way to have this problem solved is to go back to June 6 1945, and have both bombs dropped squarely on wash, D.C. We have allowed this mess! And you can march , dance and sing your hearts out, the only one to save us is, GOD almighty. We, all of us have become a stench to him, worthy of his wrath, and destruction. So puff on that all you liberal, homosexual,
    parasitic ,SCUMBAGS !!!!!!
    David E. Clapper

    • Dear very closed minded Clapper,

I agree with one of your points, it is the American peoples fault for the situation we are in (see above post). That is were it ends! First I would like to ask how being homosexual in anyway automatically means someone is a cause to the problem, that is judgmental and uncalled for. Two, Government has and should have nothing to do with religion. If you want to know why, just look at the Middle East and Afghanistan. I believe it was Ben Franklin who said “Lighthouses are more useful then Churches”. Finally if the only possible solution you can see to this problem is God, then how dare you accuse us of a lack of I.Q.? I am a believer, but I do not pawn my problems off on God. I am also an activist, If I see a problem I voice it, and if I can, I do something about it. If God sees it in his will to so something about it then I will thank him and praise him all the more, but till then its my problem!!

      Sincerely,
      Paul Guerra

  27. Note to Mr. Blogger (August 23rd):

I have a very simple example as to what is happening to our country. I have a small dog. A cute dog. She is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Lady, of Lady and the Tramp fame). She is very loyal and has a good life. However, if a stranger appears with a delicious ‘FREE” treat she will leave me and go beg for the treat. The only way to get her to come back to me is for her to finish the treat and realize all the free food is gone.

My point is I think the Progressive Liberals goal is to get the majority of Americans dependent on the Federal Government. Free this and Free that. They are running the education system and desire to keep most Americans ignorant so they can manipulate the majority of our citizens to continue voting for the political party that gives them free ‘treats’. If the Progressive Liberals know the ‘best way to run the country why is our educational system in shambles. They have been running our educations system for decades.

Remeber the campaign slogon “Yes We Can”?

    Signed,

    NO I WON’T!!

  28. Hello –

I’m a journalist based in Washington, D.C., and I’ll be covering the 9/12 events. I’m trying to recruit some activists who have mobile video cameras and who would be interested in taking some video of the events on Saturday, and make a short video diary. I’d like to compile the videos I gather in a piece that shows the experience from the activists’ perspective. Please let me know if you’d be interested in participating. You can e-mail me at tpoulson@nationaljournal.com

    Thanks!
    Theresa

  29. There simply are not enough buses headed to Washington! Please let those of us left behind know what we can do to help.

  30. To Mr Blogger – WOW, you are an idiot, and to respond further would be a complete waste of my time.

Now to the rest of the SANE population, it will take Civil War, history has shown it over and over for thousands of years. The scary part is we have much larger weapons now, we are no longer throwing sticks & stones. The weapons we have now can destroy entire cities. We are fighting a Mountain not Mole Hill, and a couple thousand extremest will do nothing to accomplish what needs to be done. When those extremest “parents” and “grand parents” take to the streets we will be on our way.

Don’t you see all the advertisements? The media is eating this up, they love the attention and they are selling major advertising deals because of it ($$$$$$). Keep up the hard work America keep supporting Big Business and Big Government with your ratings.

If you ask me, Glenn Beck sold out, biggovernment.com has sold out, and so has everyone else. Don’t you see their fancy suits, fancy cars, fancy homes? That is what truly drives them, and if you think about, isn’t it what drives us all?

Unfortunately, our fear of loosing our greed is what we are feeling right now. It’s like taking the crack pipe from the crack head. That is why America is so scared we are worried we can’t keep stepping on the person next to us to get that fancy house or car. If you have ever driven on an American Highway you now what I mean. Look in the mirror America, the Presidents we keep electing grew up next to us, in our neighborhoods, in our school system. Why do you think we can’t find a good one?

Look further America, teach your children to respect their classmates. STOP buying them clothes from the mall, teach them how to build long lasting friendships, teach them strong morals and ethics. We are a superficial society who is loosing their ability to take care of themselves on the outside. Start looking on the inside because that is all a lot of us will have left if things keep going this way.

The problem isn’t just with Big Government, that is just what you are wanting to blame, the problem is with America and the way we raise our children. Think about it, how many American businesses out there simply don’t care about their customers, they don’t stand behind their products, they simply get you to sign a long contract that takes complete advantage of you. This is what we are teaching our children, this is how America operates, look in the mirror America.

    God bless us all,
    Equally Guilty

  31. WHITE POWER!

    • Attention all Tea Baggers. We are moving our White Power movement to the state of Texas. We plan to secede from the union, re-elect George Bush and build a wall (with a mote) to protect our new state. Please bring your guns.

Requirements to join operation tea bag texas:

      1. White Skin Color
      2. Must be saved (by Jesus)
      3. Must Speak English
      4. Must own a television (this is so we can learn how to behave)

together we can all tea bag the country one sack at a time.

    • It has nothing to do with race.

  32. I understand why many of the people who are showing up at town hall meetings this month are reacting, sometimes violently, when members of Congress try to explain the need for an expanded government role in our health care system.

But these are often the same people who like their Medicare or the Veterans Administration’s exceptional health care, both of which are government-run health care programs. Both are easy, efficient and good quality.

As it is now, we have insurance companies getting between me and my doctor. Refusing to treat or calling basic treatments “experimental” and refusing to cover them. The nightmares with insurance companies are abundant. Ask a neighbor or a relative if it hasn’t happened to you yet. The insurance companies do not care if you die or go bankrupt if it saves them money.

This the insurance industry earns a profit by DENYING your/our health care. Everyone of us live in fear that we’ll lose our jobs and not be able to afford health insurance premiums. (Mine are $850.00 and I’m on the verge of bankruptcy because my medications are $7000.00 + every month. Thank you Pharama.)

Did you know that the biggest funders of these rallies and these un-American, anti-government protests are the pharmaceutical and insurance industry? They are using us to protest for them to protest against our own interests. I guarantee they are laughing at us behind there gated community home doors.

The American Plan covers all citizens, no co-pays, no out-of-pocket expenses. Drugs are below $10.00 of a 3 month supply for all your medicines. The American Plan is better than Medicare and covers all of us, regardless of income or privilege. Thin of it as Medicare for all with no doughnut hole.

  33. You people seem to all be very intelligent. You can’t bear what’s happening to this country right now. However, this is when the insects crawl out of the woodwork. Your real agendas are cloaked in patriotic words. You want to blame the “liberals” and Obama for all your current woes. Someone even said we’ve had the worst deficit just over this past year. Sigh. We’ve been doing it for a while. So, let’s all just pretend that this isn’t a backlash against the fact that you’ve got a President who just doesn’t look like any other President we’ve had in the future. We just can’t bear to digest the fact that he’s young, better educated and more intelligent that those who held office for the 8 years prior to his election. You complain about healthcare and rising costs and how messed up the system is, yet when your 95 year old grandmother is sick and has no chance (repeat, no chance) of survival, you insist that doctors do everything in their power to save her. Give her that bypass, you say. Even though she’s going to be miserable afterwards and lead the rest of her days in pain. Make sure she gets that extra MRI, you say. And the list goes on and on. And then, when the doctors advise you against your emotional response, and tell you to do what’s best for her and make her comfortable during her last days, you immediate call up all those other insects from under other rocks and sue the doctors and financial institutions. You don’t want to take care of your elderly, and push them off to some institution or home for the old or leave them at the hospital, thereby increasing the cost of healthcare unnecessarily. Unless you’re willing to make some tough decisions and some sacrifices, none of this will go away. The system will implode and whoever is running the country at the time will get blamed for it. We owe 1.0 trillion or so to China. It is consistently poor spending habits that have put us in this spot. It has nothing to do with the current administration. Keep racking up those credit card debts and buying homes that you can’t afford or driving cars that are gas guzzlers. Keep giving in to the unions who won’t let companies do what’s best. Keep cherishing your freedom and not invest in public transport systems across the nation. Keep draining precious resources and destroy any chance our future generations have of enjoying this land. And most importantly, keep bitching, whining and moaning about how bad this administration is and how it should be replaced. You’re very intelligent and must know what you’re talking about. Really, kudos to you for skillfully being such closet bigots.

  34. Well….I see a lot of compassion here towards taking our country back…but marches and letter writing are not going to cut it anymore…it’s gotten way to out of control. An all out revolution will be the only thing they will take notice of and win back this country. Yeah I know…I said revolution…and it’s a shame that seems to be a bad word these days…especially since it’s what our founding fathers actually did to give you the right to do and they are probably rolling in their graves right now.

And the problem is not the government…it is YOU…the citizens of this country are to blame for what is happening to our constitution…our economy…our very way of life. People used to think in this country but now everyone has just become a media toilet. Apathy has moved in and unless people pull their collective heads out of the toilet and band together in a common cause you might as well just bend over.

And as far as political affiliations are concerned…if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck…guess what…call it what you want…it’s still a duck. I’m really fed up with this labeling of everyone…it does nothing but cause more and more division of people while the ones truly running the world laugh at you.

This republican/democrat/liberal/conservative crap needs to stop…we are citizens of the united states…and unless we stop playing these games nothing is going to change.

“Those who seek to be truly free, must abolish any form of government which takes property from one in order to give to another, regardless of reason or rationale. Such a redistribution of wealth is little more than government sanctioned theft. Each man must be free to choose with whom he will share his time, his energy, his friendship, and the fruits of his labor as he sees fit. Government coercion and intervention in these areas is nothing less than tyranny.”

Here are some insights from some people who saw the truth. Presidents, authors and IRS representatives.

“The right of revolution is an inherent one. When people are oppressed by their government, it is a natural right they enjoy to relieve themselves of the oppression, if they are strong enough, whether by withdrawal from it, or by overthrowing it and substituting a government more acceptable.”
    ~ Ulysses S. Grant – “Personal Memoirs” (1885) ~

“Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did, and it never will. Find out just what people will submit to, and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them; and these will continue till they have resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they suppress.”
    ~ Frederick Douglas ~

“You need only reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding fathers used in the struggle for independence.”
    ~ Charles A. Beard ~

“We, the People are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts — not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow men who pervert the Constitution.”
    ~ Abraham Lincoln ~

“I am a revolutionist by birth, reading, and principle. I am always on the side of the revolutionists because there never was a revolution unless there were some oppressive and intolerable conditions against which to revolt.”
    ~ Mark Twain ~

“In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.”
    ~ Mark Twain ~

“Our tradition is one of protest and revolt, and it is stultifying to celebrate the rebels of the past…. while we silence the rebels of the present.”
    ~ Henry Steele Commager – (American educator – 1947) ~

“A great civilization is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself from within. The essential cause of Rome’s decline lay in her people, her morals, her class struggle, her failing trade, her bureaucratic despotism, her stifling taxes, her consuming wars…”
    ~ Will Durant – (American historian – 1944) ~

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”
    ~ President John F. Kennedy ~

“A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have.”
    ~ President Gerald Ford ~

“If there be a principle that ought not to be questioned within the United States, it is that every man has a right to abolish an old government and establish a new one.
    ~ James Madison ~

“Liberty has never come from government. Liberty has always come from the subjects of government. The history of liberty is the history of resistance.”
    ~ Woodrow Wilson – 1912 ~

“One of the greatest delusions in the world is the hope that the evils in this world are to be cured by legislation.”
~ Thomas Reed – (Speaker of the House of Representatives – 1886) ~

“I heartily accept the motto, ‘That government is best which governs least’; … Carried out, it finally amounts to this, which also I believe– ‘That government is best which governs not at all’; and when men are prepared for it, that will be the kind of government they will have.”
    ~ Henry David Thoreau ~

“Our federal tax system is, in short, utterly impossible, utterly unjust and completely counterproductive [it] reeks with injustice and is fundamentally unAmerican… it has earned a rebellion and it’s time we rebelled”.
    ~President Ronald Reagan, May 1983, Williamsburg, VA~

Regarding Money, Banking & The Federal Reserve

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered”.
~Thomas Jefferson in 1802 in a letter to then Secretary of the Treasury, Albert Gallatin~

“.. we conclude that the [Federal] Reserve Banks are not federal … but are independent privately owned and locally controlled corporations… without day to day direction from the federal government.”
~9th Circuit Court in Lewis vs United States, June 24, 1982~

“Some people think the Federal Reserve Banks are US government institutions They are not… they are private credit monopolies which prey upon the people of the US. for the benefit of themselves and their foreign and domestic swindlers, and rich and predatory money lenders. The sack of the United States by the Fed is the greatest crime in history. Every effort has been made by the Fed to conceal its powers, but the truth is the Fed has usurped the government. It controls everything here and it controls all our foreign relations. It makes and breaks governments at will”.
~Congressman Charles McFadden, Chairman, House Banking and Currency Committee, June 10, 1932~

“This is a staggering thought. We are completely dependent on the commercial Banks. Someone has to borrow every dollar we have in circulation, cash or credit. If the Banks create ample synthetic money we are prosperous; if not, we starve. We are absolutely without a permanent money system. When one gets a complete grasp of the picture, the tragic absurdity of our hopeless position is almost incredible, but there it is. It is the most important subject intelligent persons can investigate and reflect upon. It is so important that our present civilization may collapse unless it becomes widely understood and the defects remedied very soon.”
~Robert Hemphill, Credit manager of Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta.~

“The Founding Fathers of this great land had no difficulty whatsoever understanding the agenda of bankers, and they frequently referred to them and their kind as, quote, ‘friends of paper money.
They hated the Bank of England, in particular, and felt that even were we successful in winning our independence from England and King George, we could never truly be a nation of freemen, unless we had an honest money system. Through ignorance, but moreover, because of apathy, a small, but wealthy, clique of power brokers have robbed us of our Rights and Liberties, and we are being raped of our wealth.
We are paying the price for the near comatose levels of complacency by our parents, and only God knows what might become of our children, should we not work diligently to shake this country from its slumber!
Many a nation has lost its freedom at the end of a gun barrel, but here in America, we just decided to hand it over voluntarily. Worse yet, we paid for the tyranny and usurpation out of our own pockets with “voluntary” tax contributions and the use of a debt laden flat currency!”.
~Peter Kershaw, author of the 1994 booklet “Economic Solutions”~

“(The Great Depression resulting from the Stock Market crash) was not accidental. It was a carefully contrived occurrence….The international bankers sought to bring about a condition of despair here so they might emerge as rulers of us all.”
~Rep. McFadden testified in Congress (1933). There were at least two attempts on his life by gunfire. He died of suspected poisoning after attending a banquet.~

“Thus corporations finally claimed the full rights enjoyed by individual citizens while being exempted from many of the responsibilities and liabilities of citizenship. Furthermore, in being guaranteed the same right to free speech as individual citizens, they achieved, in the words of Paul Hawken, ‘precisely what the Bill of Rights was intended to prevent: domination of public thought and discourse.’
The subsequent claim by corporations that they have the same right as any individual to influence the government in their own interest pits the individual citizen against the vast financial and communications resources of the corporation and mocks the constitutional intent that all citizens have an equal voice in the political debates surrounding important issues.”
~David C. Korten, in his book, When Corporations Rule the World~

And regards to income taxes…you might want to do a google search for “Freedom To Fascism” and then after you’ve gotten pissed off visit LostHorizons.com and see what others are doing to keep their money…or just keep being a lemming every april and give your money away.

Oh…and the “debt” we keep hearing about? It can NEVER be paid back or paid down….EVER! Why you ask? Because the privately owned Federal Reserve which has nothing whatsoever to do with our government and issues our “money/worthless paper” doesn’t print interest…it only prints principle. Think about it.

  35. The money power preys upon the nation in times of peace and conspires against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, more selfish than bureaucracy. I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. Corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until the wealth is aggregated in the hands of a few and the Republic is destroyed … I feel at the moment more anxiety for the safety of my country than ever before, even in the midst of war.
