  1. Enough is enough! We must all march on Washington DC. I will be there.

    • I agree! Just found this site. Can anyone tell me what is being done to address growing inequality in the housing market? Case in point. I am disabled and cannot afford a home. But, on HG TV, I saw a working black couple who both earned over $75,000 (I think that was together) and had a down payment that was given to them (on top of what they had saved).

Now, I want to know who is giving only black americans this money (because this is not the first time I have seen black’s having a down payment provided to them on top of their own funds.) Is this taxpayer money? And why are we discriminating by only giving black people this?

How much more do we have to give?
600,000 died in the fight against slavery.
The plantations were destroyed, those men and women kicked out of them, but the land was given to the ex-slaves,
      later came equal rights,
then special scholarships only for non-whites,
then special admittance (with often lower GPA standards) into Ivy League Schools I could not afford, then preferential hiring for non-whites.

Frankly, I am tired of this. The country I believe in is that everyone is equal. No more and no less. You work for what you have, it’s not handed out.

By the way, before some screwball attacks me for being on the dole, I am ONLY on disability because Americans have not stood up against the lack of enforceability of our laws against drunk drivers (and other criminals). I was hit head on by a drunk (5th time offender) at age 27. The man who hit me? over 40 years old, chronic drunk and unemployed. He kept his house. I got squat. He was underinsured and L&I (Satans sibling) took the lion’s share.

I struggled to work for the next 12 years in lots of pain, losing jobs and being fired because I hurt all the time (of course no employer would admit that). A black women where my dad worked said if I was ‘One of her people’ the company would not be harassing me. But it was my luck to be white (well, mostly, but I look white). Later when I found out that I had spanish in me, I got the largest scholarship within 24 hours ever to ‘retrain’. I never would have been eligible if I were ‘white’. That is not right. Not right at all.

Finally, after switching careers, I was forced to file for disability (which is not much – can’t even pay rent, and can’t get hud housing b/c of all the illegals clogging it up) and now have occipital neuralgia where my head burns like an electric fence ALL THE TIME.

We must have the guts to address all the issues, but we also must work together. Let’s demand an end to corrpution and work for a better America! But we can’t get there if we dont’ all have the same rights.

  2. I’d like to volunteer to be one Western region co-ordinators. I’ve been involved in the Seattle Tea Party movement from the beginning. I publicized and spoke at the February 16 Presidents Day Seattle Porkulus Protest, the February 27 Seattle Tea Party, the April 15 Bellevue (Washington) Tax Day Tea Party, and the April 15 Seattle Tax Day Tea Party. http://bit.ly/GD6ax

  3. Is there any official brouchure or handouts that we can give out? We have a business that comes in contact with hundreds of like minded people every summer and would love to have material to hand out. If you have a PDF please contact me at Facebook.

  4. We are the Nevada, northern California and Utah Tea party information “hub” at http://www.AngerisBrewing.com
We have networked with the organizers of Tea Parties across our state, and with the southern California Tea Party coalition of organizers. Let us know if there’s any way we can help.

    Here’s a suggestion for local ORGANIZERS: http://www.TeaPartyExpress.org
the Our Country Deserves Better PAC is taking a CARAVAN across the country, from California to DC, starting August 28 until the national taxpayer march on DC. Check out their route. See if the caravan is coming through your town. If so, consider joining them on their caravan. If you can’t take that much time off work, then see if you can HELP ORGANIZE a good citizen’s protest Tea Party in your state. They still need a few local organizers…each rally or Tea Party should take on the flavor of the local community.

CHECK IT OUT, and TELL YOUR FRIENDS! Teapartyexpress.org

  5. DENVER-Constitution Day Tea Party and Candlelight Vigil for Freedom

    September 12th, 2009 5:30 – 10:00 PM

For those Patriots in Colorado who cannot make the trip to DC, a local Colorado Capitol Event has been organized on the evening of September 12, 2009

    Here is the information:

A Permit has been obtained for the West Steps of the Denver Capitol for an Evening Constitution Day Tea Party and Candlelight Vigil for Freedom on September 12, 2009 in Denver Colorado.

Guests are invited to come early to hear a broadcast of the American Constitution accompanied by Patriotic Hymns.

This 68 minute reading will begin at 5:30 PM and will be followed by a reading of The Declaration of Independence and then the Bill of Rights.

The Tea Party will officially begin at 7PM with the Pledge of Allegiance and the singing of our National Anthem.

A series of speeches and music will end at approximately 9PM and the Candlelight Vigil will begin with a moment of silence, followed by an hour of singing the great American Hymns.

Guests are invited to bring Signs, American Flags, Flashlights, Light Sticks (NO Candles are allowed on the Capitol Grounds), Folding Chairs, and Blankets to sit on. Because of the set up around the west side of the capitol, early arrival is encouraged.

September weather in Colorado is unpredictable.

DENVER-Constitution Day Tea Party and Candlelight Vigil for Freedom

    • I will not be attending. I support the Constitution, and find the emphasis on religion to be inappropriate.

You are going to have to start bringing ALL of the people together if you want to win this fight.

This should be a Patriotic event, not a religious event.

      • I agree. We need to get down to the fundamental basics – we need to be united – all of us, liberal, conservative and all the shades in between – we can stand together.

  6. This is a good idea (several, actually) from a recent post to Pajamas Media by a contributor named Moogie:

“Here’s a radical idea: How about holding the next Tea Parties at the front doors of ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC? They all have affiliate stations in the larger cities. Think they might pay attention?

Here’s another radical idea: instead of inundating our disconnected “elected” officials with our concerns re: the economy, etc., how about if we inundate the MSM with our demand for journalistic integrity? Let them know you’ll boycott their station if they don’t start reporting and investigating ethically and without bias.

Imagine the impact if thousands of emails jammed their servers (the recent internet scafoffle in South Korea). Go one step further and flood their advertisers with emails and letters declaring a boycott on their goods.”

I will be contacting the SoCal Tea Party representatives about this; maybe this could be promulgated across the country. Let’s force these bastards to deal with the fact that there are a lot of people out here who do not like what is going on in this country!

    • WH.
What a great idea. I too live in the Southern California area and it is imperative that we get someone to promote our side of the story. I’m already boycotting NBC and GE but we must make it know what other groups organizations and corporations support the liberal agenda.
By identifying these individuals and groups and letting them know that we will no longer do business with them and that we will use every means necessary to boycott them. This approach can and will have a profound effect, if we can get everyone on board. It may mean that some individuals have to make sacrifices but we must willing to sacrifice in order to save our country. I am with you and I support your efforts let me know if there’s anything additional that I can do to help you in this endeavor.

  7. There is simply no way I can travel to DC. TOO BROKE. But I would love to participate in any events in my state of Washington. Can anyone help me find a resource for info about this? Thanks

  8. My wife & I will be coming from Washington. Can’t wait.

This particular set of pages on this web-site is a bit hard to find; I just lucked onto it. I wonder if the webmaster might put a quick link in somewhere and advertise it more.

  9. I will be there to march on Washington DC on September 12th…even if I have to walk, to get there. I would not miss this for anything in the World!!

  10. We need good representation from our patriots in the West!!!

  11. If you cannot make it to DC….then please attend one of the regional Tea Parties in your state on September 12th!! Our Freedom is just too Important!!!

  12. Bring your State Flag along with you!!

  13. Jesus said to them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” Matthew 22:15-22

    • well, I’d say that went pretty well for Ceasar, since he’s own senate executed him.

If you want to pay for all these programs; let donate YOUR savings, YOUR healthcare, YOUR grandchildren’s furture, and by the way, YOUR house. After all, didn’t the disciples leave those behind too?

  14. Is there a 9/12 project group in Colorado Springs, Co?

  15. September 12th will be a great day for America and for Liberty!!

  16. It’s so GREAT to hear the “sleeping giant” being awakened! For far too long, we’ve been the silent majority; keep up the great work everyone! I’d like information about any groups leaving (flying) from Southern California to D.C. for the September 12th rally.

  17. here you go:

National Day of Service and Remembrance

Please take a moment now to post your personal plan to perform a good deed, volunteer or engage in another charitable activity in observance of the newly established September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. Help create a wonderful legacy that honors the victims and those who rose to service in response to the attacks on America.

    http://911dayofservice.org/

guess cheney forgot to tell bush it was his job to set up a national day of remembrance.

  18. the organizer of your protest has a history of starting trouble:

“Brendan Steinhauser was the Washington, D.C. chapter leader of the right-wing protest group, Protest Warrior. He led the counter-protest against the anti-war movement’s mobilization on September 24, 2005. The group’s confrontational and provocative methods have caused incidents at numerous peace rallies. Steinhauser also led an “infiltration” of a peace rally in San Diego in March of 2005, and protests of Michael Moore in Crawford, Texas and San Diego, California. He brags about making short films of his provocative “infiltrations” and distributes them to other activists. ”

  19. Anyone driving to D.C. I’m trying to figure out a chap way for my husband & I to get there…maybe carpool??? I don’t know…just looking for friends/ideas. Thanks!

  20. I’m traveling to D.C. with my daughter for the march. This is the second time I have participated in a Tea Party. My first was in Orange County just a few short months ago. The fact that this movement has gained momentum instead of died down should have sent a clear message to Washington. Maybe they will finally get the message next week. I’m so proud of the true patriots of this great country and look forward to meeting many of you next week in D.C. I’ll be praying for safety for all those traveling next week.

  21. Flying in from Riverside CA, I can’t wait for the “Mother of all Tea Parties” !!!!

  22. This is all I want as a result of the Tea Party.

    Congress,

    1) Pass a law that prohibits you from voting for your own raises. I did not
ask for you to possess such ridiculous authority. You work for me, not for
yourselves. How dare you give yourself a 11% raise when the American people
are in such a state of economic suffering. Then you have the audacity to
complain about corporate executives taking more than their fair share. How
dare you insult my intelligence and mock me while you fatten yourselves with
    my hard earned dollars.

    2) Repeal the law that authorizes you to not pay into the Social Security
system. Why do you think that you shouldn’t have to pay Social Security
payments. I’ve been paying for thirty years. Why do you think you should
    get a free ride?

    3) Make English the official language of America. Stop spending billions of
the American tax dollars on multi-language documents and services.
Americans are willing to learn and adapt. Immigrants who are unwilling can
go back to their own country.

    4) Abolish the Electoral College. I never asked for this ludicrous scheme
you worked up to proxy my vote.

    5) Remove all expense funds that don’t directly relate to your specific job
responsibilities. How dare you use my hard earned dollars to take
unnecessary trips, buy personal items, take your family on vacations. Have
you lost your mind. That is my money you’re spending.

    6) Pay your own long-term health premiums. Stop with the free rides. You
are in a part-time job. I’m tired of paying for you what I must pay for
myself. Get your own health insurance, and experience for yourself the pain
    I have.

    7) Make it law that all American citizens serve the country for two years
after high school. Lots of choices here (e.g., community services, armed
forces). It brings people together and provides common expectations for
    work ethic and moral baselines.

Establish a law that elected officials can only serve two terms. It will
reduce the risk of temptation to become corrupt and approve laws for self
interest. Do you think I’m a fool? The Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens is as
guilty as Madoff. The judicial system you created let him off on a
technicality. You make me sick. Ted Stevens was stealing from the Alaskan
people for years. He lost his morale compass and doesn’t even know it, or
    he is a damn liar.

    9) Bring back “In God We Trust” to every corner of America. This country
was founded on God and hard work. Keep it that way.

I want results, and I want them NOW. Next, I will be looking more closely
at all the other laws that give you preferential treatment. It’s time for
you to get off the “Gravy Train” and start working for me. It’s time for
you to get back to the basics and get the job done that you said you were
going to do. So you know, I am trying to find out which of you actually
read the stimulus package before you voted on it. When I do, I will be
sending you another letter. I don’t even know where to start with that.
How could anyone with a brain in their head vote on the largest economic
package ever without reading it? That is a complete avoidance of your
fiduciary responsibility. I should sue the congressmen for my money back.

  23. hello,
I would like to know if there are any links to twitter out there. I was unable to be at the Wash. DC event. but, fortunate to twitter someone who was there alone. I was so moved, I felt it would be a great way to stay connected with my out of state friends at our next event.

Is anyone else linked to a twitter link?

    Thanks,
    Gayle
